It is an authentic family Vila. Paola and her mother are lovely hosts. We stayed in a beautiful spotless room with views, access to a swimming pool, and a private balcony. The bathroom was huge! Breakfast was full of options and when it was sunny, we had it in the terrace. We even had homemade cake :) The house it's from the 14th century, unique and beautiful. There was free parking and access to bikes too. In summary, 100% recommended!

Location is brilliant, it's a bit of a walk into Lucca - especially if it is hot, but it's quiet, peaceful and great for parking. There's also a small supermarket nearby and a couple of bars and eateries. Giovanna is a great host, really easy to get hold of and looks after you if you need it - for the deposit, make sure you have cash! I completely forgot about this.
