Warm welcome - although we arrived late evening, due to a delayed flight, the hosts were ready and waiting for us (after giving directions by WhatsApp) to show us to the apartment and explain the location. Great location - from here you can drive to Pisa, Lucca and Siena all within 1 hour. There is a Lidl in the local town Castelfiorentino which is just 15 mins away, which also has a train station with regular service to Florence (takes 45-50 mins) which we’d recommend as driving/parking in Florence is difficult. Perfect surroundings- for walking, exploring, wildlife (owls, deers, birds of prey) and magical Tuscan sunsets!

It served as a perfect base for day trips to Firenza, Pisa, Sienna. The whole place is built in an old mansion and it is an amazing place to stay and experience. Hotel has an old charm and it is perfectly clean and tidy. The hosts are always available for any inquiries and are super nice. And their sweet breakfast in the garden was perfect to start the day. We loved our apartment, it had everything that you might need on vacation. The pool is well-kept and is a nice addition, especially if you are with kids. We had our own patio to enjoy breakfast outside and relax. The hosts are super hospitable and helpful. I would love to go back there.

The owners were there but they were not intrusive/imposing. It was a very lovely stay and I would recommend the property to any families travelling. Waking up to the views and late night wine nights were the things we looked forward as well. There is also a trampoline for the kids, and they can visit the animals. You can hire a car and drive to neighbouring cities/towns like Florence and San Gimignano.

A receptionist was very kind and helpful. Equipment and rooms bring you into atmosphere of old castles and chateaux. Pisa, Firenze, Siena and other nice places are not too far.
