The location was breathtaking with gorgeous views and lovely grounds. Our room was comfortable and beautifully appointed. We really enjoyed the food, wine and service at the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was excellent. When we were checking out, we inquired about getting a taxi into town to resume our trek on the Via Francigena. Our host, Georgio, graciously offered to drive us into town himself. When saying farewell, Georgio encouraged us to contact him if we needed anything, explaining that the staff at the Sant’llario considered their guests to continue being their guests until they reached their next destination. We were all very impressed by this sentiment.

We loved staying at Podere San Luigi. The rooms were clean and spacious, the pool was great and the place is surrounded by a beautiful garden. We will definetely come back!

For me, PERFECT LOCATION. Host took me around his property (pool, wine and oil room, my room and showed where to take some great photos for my trip). The road to the location is a winding gravel road, but well worth the ride. Facility had everything I needed. Bought two bottles of his olive oil, which were a few yards from his wine cellar. Host made me feel at home. I had a great dinner at the restaurant just to the right as you leave the property.

The property is absolutely wonderful! The apartment was very clean and offered good space for a family of four. The grounds of the resort are very well maintained and very beautiful.
