Staying at Masseria Montecchie was like staying in a friend's beautiful home. We were welcomed by the owner Pia who was absolutely charming. The property is gorgeous situated just outside of the village, Ceglie Messapica, surrounded by big beautiful olive groves. We had a lovely apartment with a bedroom and separate living space with a comfortable fold out couch. There was also a kitchenette but we chose not to cook. We had breakfast included every morning in Pia's kitchen, where she served her homemade orange marmalade and cakes, in addition to amazing croissants and cappuccino, fresh fruit and meats and cheeses. At night, there were ample lovely restaurants in Ceglie Messapica - favorites included Cibus and Ristorante da Giuseppe. We chose this location because it was centrally located in Puglia and we knew we wanted to see towns both to the north and south. Don't miss Monopoli and Otranto in addition to Lecce and Alberobello! It was a treat to stay at Masseria Montecchie - highly recommend!

The hosts are really exceptionally kind and hospitable, we loved our stay in the lamia next to the trullo. It has everything you need for a very comfortable stay at any time of the year as the AC work brilliantly for both heating and cooling. The location is excellent, 2 min drive from Ceglie Messapica. The bed is very comfortable and the attention to detail fantastic. We miss the cute little cats that greeted us every morning and when we came back after a day out. The fresh kaki fruits were a bonus experience to our stay at the end of October. 10 out of 10 stars!

The property was so peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were super accommodating and made the check in and out process hassle free. I was also travelling alone and felt safe the whole time. The room I had was air conditioned and spacious which made it comfortable during the hot weather that ensued!

We (two couples) stayed in the Trulli rooms. The sign above the door said 1793. They were so cute as well as spacious and clean. They each had a small kitchen and a private patio at the back. We were the only people there for the 5 nights in early October. Every morning Pia and her staff prepared an amazing breakfast. We were spoiled having the entire property, including pool to ourselves. Dinner was not served but we were able to find several very good restaurants in Ceglie Messapica. We would recommend Cibus and Mimma's. We were about equal distance from the Adriatic and the Ionian Coasts, so we visited both. Good location from which to visit Alberobello, Locorotondo, Ostuni etc.

Lovely masseria, run by a great host (Alex). Breakfast is well above expectations. You feel like you are welcome by friends. The pool area is also very unique. A true gem. Much better than the pictures.

There was so much to like about this property, the staff was outstanding; each little apartment was so well appointed with traditional masseria decor. Loved that each apartment had its own outdoor space. The pool, the breakfast area, the shade Pergola, the gardens, the secured parking, and the surrounding area was everything we had imagined and better.

Everything about the property was exactly as we had expected, based on the pictures we had seen when booking. The facilities were state of the art, the interior designed with taste, everything was working properly, the view at the back terrace is breathtaking. The house is located at a super quiet location yet close to all amenities of Ceglie Messapica and Ostuni. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful and will make sure you have everything you need.

property was perfect for family/friends. We loved that the home is sectioned off so each couple had their own privacy. The rooms were spacious enough and the indoor communal area was great for us all. Kitchen was really well stocked - nothing it didn’t have! The property is also conveniently all on one level, which was great for us with small children & no stairs.
