We had a fantastic 6-day stay at the Masseria Bio! The entire place is simply beautiful - the perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Andrea has created a hidden gem on his Lemon Farm, where he and his family grow primarily Lemons but also other kinds of fruits and herbs. Andrea greeted us warmly and showed us around the entire farm. Everything is designed with a lot of love and respect for the plants as well as detail regarding the design of the Masseria. The Masseria has a lovely pool area where you can rest in the hammock after a busy day. The location of the farm is very convenient for trips to the many scenic cities and beaches in the surrounding area (Syracusa, Noto etc). Also supermarkets are very close by with just a 5 min drive into Avola. The apartments have everything you need for your stay, including a fridge, cooking isle, en-suite bathroom and a nice outside sitting & dining area. We really enjoyed our morning breakfasts & BBQ sessions with a view into the lemon trees. Andrea has been a great host, who was always reachable for us and he helped us with many great local tips and recommendations. He helped us to find the best, authentic restaurants and the least crowded beaches around :) Thanks Andrea - we will be back very soon!

The accommodation completely exceeded our expectations. We stayed in very cozy cottage in the middle of the field with the view towards the sea and Mount Etna. It was very close on the beach (rocks and sand beach as well). We would like to be back soon!

Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful place and so close to Noto. Staff was easy to communicate with and responsive. Breakfast was minimal and not really worth the cost but very convenient.

Amazing surroundings, helpful and nice staff, calm and quiet, close to Noto, clean and modern, fruit trees in the garden, had all the facilities we needed.

It felt like an oasis of calm. We did receive an upgrade on our room which was an extra bonus. The whole experience was very positive and very relaxing. Beautiful gardens all around and everything had been renovated/built sympathetically. The staff were friendly and professional and the breakfast was great. There was an independent restaurant at the hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed the two evening meals we had there.

- Delightful host! - Charming setting: it’s called « Casale dei Cactus », because there are numerous cactuses on the property, which is somptuous - Pool is amazing - We had the property in front of the host’s house and it always felt intimate and like we had the whole place to ourselves. The is another property just below the one we had, but no one was there at that time - Kitchen ameneties were great. Just missing a chef’s knife… - Very clean property - The « casale » we had had a master’s bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and the bed was comfortable. There is also a small room with a twin bed, which we didn’t use. Finally, there is a sofa-bed in the living room, which was as comfortable as a sofa-bed could be. - Host also has a nice dog and a cat, which came to see us when we were outside :) - Very nice outside table to enjoy a meal with an ocean view
