Location was good, a quiet village setting, sheep and horses out on the field in front. Local pub, The Bay Horse, was lovely and welcoming, good pub grub. Noddy the dog was gorgeous - many fusses to be had there! Many local places to explore, Alnwick just up the road, Rothbury and Morpeth - lovely towns with great variety of shopping/restaurant options. Even the weather didn't dampen our spirits!
