Mike and Vicky were helpful and welcoming and the cottage was cosy with all modern conveniences and amenities. It was a rare treat being able to take a bath after a long day of trekking in the Lake District. It was extremely quiet at night and the bed was super comfortable so we slept like babies. We were treated to a complementary guided tour of the neighbouring water mill.

Excellent location in centre of town but quiet & peaceful too. Didn’t have chance to use outdoor area but looked fab. Logburner made it very cosy , kitchen very well equipped- would highly recommend.

Our suite was beautifully furnished and comfortable in all aspects. The lobby areas were a great place to sit and read of an evening as super quiet and peaceful.
