Everyone was very friendly. The hotel was immaculately clean and full of Highland character. The room was outstanding - very spacious, well decorated, comfortable and quiet. I like to take frequent breaks from the Isle of Skye several times a year in order to write and walk on the sunnier side and this was, by far, the best hotel in which I’ve stayed. Tain is great for exploring btw!

Exceptionally thought out, beautifully presented. Location, five minutes from Tain but could give Vicki’s horses a scratch on the nose in the morning. So peaceful and quiet. We stay in holiday rentals 2 to 3 months a year all over the world. This is a very, very rare 10 out of 10. And Vicki is not such a bad host either! Though one of the horses did give her a nasty bight. This is a great taste of Highland ‘true local’ without the kilts

What an amazing & clever use of the roof space. VERY luxuriously appointed & a massive comfy bed. It's remote enough right on the Dornock Firth for peace & quiet but still connected to civilization. We only had 1 night as part of a 1500 mile tour but we'll DEFINITELY be back !

Vicki's Den is beautifully decorated, clean, homely and comfortable with some lovely touches. It is set in a really quiet and peaceful location near the shore and with amazing views to the mountains beyond. The creme eggs were a welcome bonus on Easter Day! Vicki could not have made us feel more welcome.
