The staff were very helpful and abliging, room very comfortable and modern, food was excellent, Sunday Roast the best we have had, real fast the same! Nice beer garden too

I was pleasantly surprised that not once did we see a crowd of roistering boozers, to be honest. The rooms were clean, and the breakfasts were hearty! The dining room has a lovely ambience and decor. The staff are professional, warm, and hardworking people who are excellent with children, and very responsive to guests’ requests for help. Being locals, their knowledge of the Lake District and local bus timetables, etc., came in handy as well.
