The hotel is perfectly located for us to explore the area by train, being 200 metres from the station. It’s quiet and comfortable with ample grounds for a stroll. The buffet breakfast was lovely but the 2 dinners we had were masterpieces!

The tree house was a beautiful location, very quiet and lovely inside. Bed was very comfortable, slept really well and woke to the sound of the birds in the morning. A squirrel visited as we sat having a cup of tea in the morning on the balcony. Lovely place, lovely grounds and a place to really relax.

What a lovely location, beautiful grounds and walks, quiet with the air filled with birdsong. A heaven if you are a dog lover with 95% of other guests having a dog with them and they were well behaved A 5 min walk takes you to Eggesford rail station where you can take a scenic journey to Barnstaple at one end and Exeter at the other. Staff are friendly and the breakfast is great with a good choice of cooked and cereals.

Bryants Cottage was very comfortable. Everything worked as it should it was very clean and there seemed to have been lots of thought about what to put in the accommodation to make a peaceful holiday. Although there is no designated parking space we were able to park on the carpark outside the property each night. We mostly travelled out in the car but got a train to Exeter from a nearby village. Spoke to Ms Jones who was very helpful and resolved a small matter very quickly.
