The rooms were well decorated and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped and came with a packet of biscuits, turron, coffee and herbal teas. The location is right next to the church which is convenient and relatively easy to find. The best thing is that there are plenty of beds and two bathroom which is good if travelling in a group and also this would make it quite cost effective. Plenty of hikes nearby, which is probably the main reason to stay in Pujerra.

The wood burner was lit and the room was lovely and warm when we arrived. There was always plenty of hot water, and the accomodation was clean and well finished. An excellent, comfortable stay. Easy parking on the entrance to the village.

We had the most amazing stay at El recreo de Martalia! We went as a couple, however the house is easily large enough for a family. The villa is presented beautifully in a traditional Spanish style, the outside space is immaculate with a lovely pool, and the animals are a pleasure to be around, very well cared for and no trouble at all! Its so peaceful and private, and has beautiful countryside views. The villa was easy to find, the lane is little bumpy but was no hassle at all (we have driven plenty worse!) and the villa is ideally placed for Ronda and the surrounding areas with plenty of supermarkets/amenities on the way in and out of Ronda. Noelia was really helpful and friendly on arrival with a house tour, and checked in with us partway through the week which was thoughtful. The location and villa was very secure and we felt right at home straight away, we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely book again on our next trip to Andalucía!
