Casa Elisa is right next to a local shop and a couple of decent restaurants in the village. Petra was super helpful including advising walking routes which brach out from the village. The volcanic hills and valley are spectacular, it reminded me of the Grand Canyon.

We were looking for a quiet place to spend a few nights in Gran Canaria and we found it in Fataga. The house was really comfortable, spacious and clean. We had a really nice stay. We recommend it very much.

We had the whole patio with 2 rooms, bathroom, balcony, very big and well equipped kitchen all for ourselves. Super. Swimming pool

We spent a fantastic 9 nights here...arrived in the dark and woke up to breathtaking views! The property has been lovingly restored with lots of attention to detail. It's a great location in the mountains if you want to avoid the crowds and have a quiet holiday, but not far to drive to explore. The owners are lovely and really helpful too.

We had the most wonderful week at la casita de la Rueda in januar 2022, and could have stayed even longer if we had the time. Our hosts, Mari y Jalil, welcomed us with food, wine and warmth - and during the week, there was a good bottle of wine given us by these lovely people! Both outside and inside, the place is beautiful with flowers and loverly outside terraces, and cosy and confortable inside, with the small details which makes this place unique! We made most of our food in the lovely kitchen house, and slept very well in the lovely bed. The pool area is just magic. Birds singing outside and a a great place to be on your own, without any interference. Close enough to small villages if you want restaurants and village life, and with a car you can go down to the seaside if you want. We went for short or long walks in the mountains, starting at the house, and could take our car to other wonderful places on the island. The road was a bit bumpy from the main road, but we got used to it. For people who loves silence, nature and an easy life - this is the place! We really want to come back next year.

Lovely villa at a much higher standard than expected. The numberous outside/ terrace areas and pool were fantastic. Location and views were spectacular with great amenities within walking distance. Great workspace for remote working and strong wifi

There is on street parking nearby. The house is a classic probably over a 100 years old, made of local volcanic stone blocks with beautiful wooden features, 50 yards from a shop and hundred yards from the city centre. Very conveniently situated for setting off on the La Fortaleza circular route. A spacious apartment for two people, a very comfortable day bed when you return, and a nice yard where you can sit outside (no view), and enjoy the pure fresh air and sunshine.
