Their place is situated next to a river overlooking the valley, little church and the ancient pilgrim way...very peaceful, restful place with the sound of running water a constant. The village has just been voted the prettiest village in Cantabria...

The location was fine. Very hard to find the lodging when we arrived in the small hamlet of La Hermida. Heat didn't work the forrst night, but the staff fixed it so it was fine for the second and third nights.

This house was a barn, and it has been renovated into a fully equipped modern and big house - all in a small village near Potes. You can feel the passion that the owners have put into the decoration and finishings. The location is great, all in driving distance to Potes and the walks to the "Picos de Europa". The kitchen is so well equipped that cooking for yourself the whole time is no problem at all. José, the owner welcomed us warmly, and he has a large book with recommendations, especially about walks in the area. You need to leave a message in the visitor's book.
