Their place is situated next to a river overlooking the valley, little church and the ancient pilgrim way...very peaceful, restful place with the sound of running water a constant. We loved the location, both central and right in the middle of nature! We also loved the outdoor area with table tennis, swing ball, and grass for the kids to run around, and it was fun cooking and dining in the outdoor kitchen area. (We didn't have a pot and the managers kindly lent us one for the duration of our stay). We loved the canyoning activity we booked with the company run by the owners: it was perfect for our family (great fun, but safe enough). We also loved that we could walk down the river a few hundred meters to go and relax in the hot spring in the river, which was good fun.

This house was a barn, and it has been renovated into a fully equipped modern and big house - all in a small village near Potes. You can feel the passion that the owners have put into the decoration and finishings. The location is great, all in driving distance to Potes and the walks to the "Picos de Europa". The kitchen is so well equipped that cooking for yourself the whole time is no problem at all. José, the owner welcomed us warmly, and he has a large book with recommendations, especially about walks in the area. You need to leave a message in the visitor's book.
