Beautiful house, I had a really nice room in the attic. The owner was really nice and welcoming, making sure I had all I could need. The countryside surrounding is breathtaking, all green and rolling hills. Unfortunately I did not have much time to enjoy that aspect this time as I had an early flight next day. The connection to the airport is fantastic, 10+ minutes by car, so it is an excellent alternative to a hotel airport.

Really a hidden gem within walking distance from a very nice beach and 20min by metro from centre of Bilbao The property is immaculate and the hosts Luis and Silvia were absolutely a bless. Luis gave us lots of detailed information about Sopelana and Bilbao: what is worth visiting , where to eat , How to get there, etc They even brought a box of local sweets for the children in the last evening. We stayed here for a couple of nights and the owners Anna and Joseph were fantastic - very friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home in their house. The breakfasts and home cooked dinner were delicious. The rooms were very comfortable and the pool and garden is very nice. Our hosts couldn't do enough for us, even taking one of us to the hospital the morning of check-out! We had a wonderful time.
