We absolutely loved the apartment's location, just a 5-minute stroll from the charming town of Zarautz. The view from the apartment is simply spectacular in our opinion! We were looking for a place to relax and be surrounded by nature, and this apartment had everything we needed. It's incredibly beautiful and has all the amenities you could ask for. You can book without hesitation, as cleanliness is guaranteed. The best part of our visit was meeting the owners, Josu and Isabel, who provided us with fantastic recommendations and guidance for exploring the Basque country. We're already looking forward to returning very soon!

There are many great reviews from years gone by, which seem to still hold true. Ultimately, we had fun here and didn’t want to leave. We spent 4 lovely days at Casa Rural. It is an old, reconfigured farm house. There are 7 rooms; ours was a nice size and comfortable. The bathroom was also good sized. There is a dining area where we had our breakfasts—and for 3 out of the 4 nights, our dinner, and 2 out of the 4 days, our lunch. The food is what you would expect to eat at your Basque neighbors home. We really enjoyed that; the menu changed daily, and the prices are reasonable, including the price of beer and wine. The Casa is situated several kilometers up a small hill, and there is an adjacent small village which has a church (seemingly inactive to my eye) and a social society where people were playing games and eating/drinking. The local villagers are not unfriendly, but not particularly welcoming either. We enjoyed walking around the village and adjacent paths. Although a little remote, it was still easy to reach many places-during our stay we spent a day in Bilbao, and San Sebastián-but also saw the nearby caves, Sanctuary of Loyola and spent time at the beach. One night we had dinner at a great restaurant nearby (forgot the name, but considered #1 in Zestoa-look it up, super yummy). We also had lunch at a Cidreria that was recommended by our host at The Casa. In short, we had a delightful time and would be very pleased to return.

The property is on a hill in a rural area just a short 5 min drive to the town and esplanade with cafes. The room was very clean and very large with a large comfortable double bed with a lovely view of the town and sea. The parking was plentiful even for our large van. Naroa was so welcoming, spoke excellent English and gave us lots of local information and the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was a lovely end to our stay. Thanks Naroa we’ll be back!

Probably the cleanest and best equipped appartement you’ll find in Zarautz. Also, the most stunning view and the kindest host. No question is too much and any info needed on the beautiful area Zarautz lies in, is provided by Koldo. He’s the kind of host that goes the extra mile.
