The mature gardens and pool area were well kept and never crowded. Our room was spacious and comfortable Breakfast each morning was unfussy and enjoyable. We liked the nice touch of the provision of two camp chairs for use on the beach. Sitting under a tree by the beach in the morning before the heat of the day was a real joy. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Kitchen was well-stocked with cooking and eating implements, full-size refrigerator, and stove/oven. Property was secure and had parking close to rooms. Location was great--quiet at night but close enough to beach/main part of town to easily walk. Plenty of towels. Lots of good bird-watching on site. AC and hot water functioned well.

The location was great: on a quiet street but very close to the beach and main street. The room is a bedroom in a shared, Costa-Rica-style house, so it gives the feel of a more local stay (as opposed to foreign-styled hotels).
