It's centrally located to the shops, the Company I needed to visit. Safe and secure with helpful directions at concierge. Food isn't served at the premises upon request, you can make use of delivery service to the property. Otherwise excellent for traveling within 10kn of Midrand to MOA, Waterfall Mall and the nearest shops for essential items at Food Lover's Market.

It was a well worth the cost and even more than what was expected. The facilities and staff were awesome. Everyone was very courteous and friendly, from the security at the entrance to the desk staff and the support staff. We felt welcomed and well cared for. Their breakfast was great and the restaurant serves really delicious food. Cocktails and drinks were great as well.

I stayed with family menbers and they had a nice thatched room. As I said, my opinion is that we were accommodated in the old gardener/gate security guard's facility because it is situated right at the gate The loadshedding in RSA contribute 100% to make your stay terrible

Our purpose for traveling to Midrand was to visit family and...
Our purpose for traveling to Midrand was to visit family and grandchildren, not especially to see the sights. However, there were two places in addition to the house where we were visiting our family that we really enjoyed: There was a Natural Wildlife and Bird reserve with walking trails and a lake, picnic tables, shelters, and facilities to make it pleasant and comfortable. And the Mall of South Africa is not just a mall. It has both outdoor and indoor play areas for children, fountains to splash in, and amusement park type rides, (which weren't running on the days we were there), in addition to all the food and shops you would expect at a mall. And South Africa is very inexpensive for those coming from the UK, the USA, and Europe, so you can eat out, a really good meal, for the cost of the groceries for preparing it yourself back at home.AAnonymous

When we handed in the keys, they just said thanks, no apology for the inconvenience ih and by the way, we left without taking a bath.

The fridge did not work, the bathroom did not have enough towels, there were spider webs everywhere in the room. The bathroom had a horrible stench which made us gag every time we walked in. The breakfast was sub standard, and breakfast was cold. I had high expectations for a Protea hotel, but will not ever be staying at this hotel again.
