Very smooth check-in and all staff were friendly and professional - Dylan was especially helpful throughput our stay. Lovely room overlooking the bay and breakfast was very good. Great location with a choice of restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity and a wider choice also within walking / short taxi drive distance. Reception supplied towels for our trip to the beach.

First time stay at Pezula. Really loved the location. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean and beautiful. Bathroom was good too. Sitting on the balcony was absolute bliss. Tranquil and quiet. We were on honeymoon so this really was a great choice. Dinner at the resort was superb!! Breakfast equally delicious. Can't wait to stay here again!

A very chilled place - just very serene place to go.
A very chilled place - just very serene place to go. It can be a little expensive for the type of food offered in several restaurants - price doesn't really match portion of menu.
The people are friendly, there's a few activities to do if you're adventurous.
It's a great place to stop-over for a couple of nights and then continue with your journey.
The Waterfront is very lovely. I suggest you there.
The Mall is also great for shopping - don't get lost though because there's about 4 mall/square areas.

If you are planning a trip along the garden route then Knysna is a must visit spot. The views across the lagoon and the Knysna Heads are amazing and so many options for accommodation from camping by the lagoon to 5* hotels.
It is also a good base to explore the Eastern end on the garden route right up to Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth).
There is also a number of fantastic mountain passes to drive up to the Karoo, but make sure you have a good vehicle and a good head for heights. Knysna is fantastic and well worth a visit.

As a place to stay, Knysna is rather small, and moreover less secure after dark than other places. Knysna and its islands/view points can e.g. easily be visited from Plettenberg where there is much more choice in terms of restaurants. 1 day is more than enough for Knysna.

The views are magnificent.
The views are magnificent. The surrounding areas are also very worthy of visits. Plettenburg Bay, Tsitsikamma, Sedgefield and Wilderness are excellent. Something great to do every day!
Knysna itself is a little run down and touristy, after all it straddles a motorway (N2), but there are places that are tucked away which are charming.....one goes there however for the views!

Lovely place on the garden route with plenty of activities and nice local restaurants and bars. The lagoon views to the Knysna Heads are amazing, a lovely place which feels very safe and tranquil, we loved it.
This was our first time staying at the Knysna Inn (we got upgraded) and it was the best hotel experience I have ever had. The waterfront is walking distance. We explored quite a bit on foot. Martin the manager was exceptional with his knowledge of the area, giving references of nice places to see to make more memories and he always had time and showed us interesting things by the hotel eg. Animals carved in certain places in the woodwork. We will definitely stay there again when in Knysna. The breakfast was also fantastic!!!!!
"Nyanza" means water and the property is both in view of and walking distance to the beautiful Knysna Lagoon. You can walk safely on a paved pathway in either direction to attractions such as Leisure Isle or Thesen Island. Love and care has gone into making guests feel welcome - the beds in the main bedroom were particularly comfortable. The shower had rejuvenating high pressure and abundant hot water - such a luxury. Small but perfectly formed, the little personal touches all made for a restful stay. We will be back.
For a budget B&B, it offers better rooms than some of the upmarket Hotel rooms. It is very clean and fantastic for weekends or stayovers. It has no sea or lagoon views do not claim that in any case. I came in at 6 pm and left at 6 am and therefore was not interested in a view. Very comfortable, super host, clean, and very central. About 5KM from the entertainment area and waterfront. Wheelchair Friendly. Wonderful outside braai/barbeque Weber
I travelled to Knysna for the Oakhill water polo festival. (my daughter was playing) It was literally a 1 min walk from the hotel to the waterfront, so close enough to pop back to the hotel in between games to relax in the comfort of the room.
The room is very clean and modern.
this is my 3rd visit to the Rex in 6 weeks. This is the only place I will stay in Knynsa.
Bonus is that there are lovely boutique shops on the same block
Situated in a private nature reserve like a large eco estate, very secure area with beautiful forested hills all around you. Although its a little out of town the road is in a perfect condition and can be driven even easily by night. The unit itself is very modern and clean, comfortable and you have a beautiful view over the valley in the foreground and hills, knysna lagoon and ocean in the not-so-distant background. Highly recommended!
• Beautiful property
• Close to Knysna waterfront
• FRIENDLY and PROFESSIONAL staff - shout out to Danielle - his brilliant !!!
• We got upgraded to a much bigger suite overlooking the lagoon - thank you so much! it was everything.. :)
• The breakfast exceeded our expectation! we were never ready. lol. loved it!!!!
I highly recommend booking here..
Fantastic view on Knysna's lagoon and the Heads, you see all of the town from a few blocks above main street. Panoramic terrace. Rooms #1 to #3 are huge and have incredible direct view over the lagoon and the town. Staff was very friendly. furniture is a bit old fashioned but very tasteful, bed is very comfortable. Strelitzia was very helpful.
Large hotel room, well equipped and the most comfortable bed and bedding.
Lovely restaurant on the ground floor serving an awesome breakfast with very friendly and efficient staff.
Hotel offers great accommodation and breakfast at a very reasonable rate.
Very central location to nearby Waterfront and various local restuarants.
The location of this Marriott Knysna Quays Hotel is very convenient for a overnight stay
excellent accommodation - clean -neat - and very good service with an excellent
\breakfast serviced by friendly staff ..very very good value . Close to resturuants and
shopping all within walking distance of Hotel and Harbour..
The property is situated right on Knysna heads and very accessible to ConeyGlen beach and there is a view point just next to property, hardly 1min walk. Loved the hospitality and courtesy of the staff. Very much approachable all the time. Loved fhe ambience of the hotel, so cozy, near and clean.
Janine was very kind to let us know everything we can explore about the Knysna and we followed it religiously to have the best time here. The apartment has a great view of the heads as well as the lagoon. Would definitely book again and recommend to others.
A really great place to stay- the house was lovely inside with clean spacious rooms, bedrooms all with ensuite. The view out from the balcony over the lagoon and out to the Heads was wonderful, as were the gardens and bird life. We would highly recommend.
The location is very convenient along the n2. Easy access to the whole of Knysna. The bedroom was nicely updated and the bed was nice.
There was good parking on the properly.
The room was well suited for longer stay and self catering.
stunning location, friendly staff, well appointed cottages, lovely walks from hotel grounds, short drive from magnificent beaches, forests, golf courses and the popular village of Knysna.
This place is amazing!! Starting with the view!!! From our room, pool and breakfast we had the best view of Knysna. Debs was so friendly, she gave us great tips.
