What a lovely venue,and loved the house,the front door sticks a lot ,however it is clear that the maintainance that is starting is much needed(grass around house,eg)
We had a dinner,the side dishes and salads were nice,but wow wow wow the beefstew was not edible,besides the "roast"potato was n 1cm piece in the sause,the meat was only chunks of fat and bone,and the total of meat was 1 tablespoon.The chef needs to know that although the taste was ok,a very expensive meal if without a reasanable amount of meat,something was really wrong with her choice of meat cut. Besides that all was pleasant

Its an awesome little town with scenic views.
Its an awesome little town with scenic views. It has everthing you need but if you do happen to leave your entire bag at home, like me, Alice is just a 25km drive away. Everyone is friendly and helpfull and the nature walks are a must but maybe take a flask if cofee and or some water with in a backpack for the road. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be going back for the garden show in the summer. I was amazed at the large variety if azalias growing evrywhere. The pizza at the restaurant was amazing. The Savemor surprised us with a wide variety of cheeses and other food options.

A walk in the Arboretum to the 39 Steps waterfall, the labaryth at the Edge and a visit to ST Paul's on the Hill are all all must do activities. The manager Annari is amazing, she is welcoming and made us feel right at home like old friends. She was very helpful with everything happening in town with recommendations on where to eat, where to go and not to go etc.

Great base station to explore Hogsback completely, we did everything we could in 3 days, but so much more to explore. The bed is huge, but maybe a little hard for my liking, slightly softer would be great, but the teepee is indeed Magical.
