Nice little town. Can walk everywhere in the down town area.
Nice little town. Can walk everywhere in the down town area. Shopping, variety of eateries, play ground, beaches, tennis courts. Museum. Beautiful view of the lake. Ate at Jimmy's for breakfast, service and food was good. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the Chase, and the price was very reasonable, and there was a view of the lake! Kids enjoyed walking up and down the hallways in the hotel, quietly! Swam in the lake and the pool. Visited the candy store on main street! Played on the play ground near down town.

We opted to rent a larger room (the King suite) since we were largely dining in due to COVID. The room had two sinks so very handy when making coffee, rinsing cups etc. It's a basic hotel with slightly outdated furnishings, but everything was in good order, well maintained and clean. Decent beds and bedding. Desk staff friendly.

We love riding our e-bikes and the best part of the property was the guest garage where we stored our bikes. We could ride straight out onto the Mississippi Rail Trail each day. The quiet trail extends many miles in both directions! To fuel up for our rides Sandra cooked fabulous breakfasts each morning.JaneUnited States of America
