I wasn't here during the ski season but it's a fantastic location none the less. The casinos were lots of fun and there were options for everyone. The scenery and surrounding area of Lake Tahoe is phenomenal and a bucket list place to visit. Plenty of walking and cycling trails around here too. You can also swim in the lake.

The ambiance of the outdoors, lake etc. is as good as always. We ate breakfast at the Red Hut Cafe and the Driftwood-- both were good. Red Hut has been there since dirt, so to speak and could use some sprucing up but we were there for the food and it didn't disappoint. We also really liked the Driftwood Cafe. I would recommend reservations for both.
We ate dinner at the Chart House on Kingsbury Grade. It was Very Good -- view, service and food. Again, reservations would be recommended. We kind of lucked out getting there early on a Sunday night.
What is really lacking at Stateline is the old pizzazz of marquees lit up with the names of top stars, people more dressed up to attend those shows etc. If that is what you are expecting, then you will be disappointed. If you are here to just enjoy the outdoors, skiing, camping, hiking etc. -- nothing there has changed -- you will enjoy your stay.

I was disgusted that there was no handicapped parking close to the check in desks. They charged $15 a day for parking.
But mostly the hotel/casino did not cater for handicapped quests, like myself.
To reach the elevator from the check-in desk was a steep climb, almost the height of a whole floor. I witnessed one poor man trying to come down in a wheelchair & he almost toppled over. Another guest helped him stay upright. There are steps everywhere that are impossible to maneuver so getting around is very limited.
I will never stay there again.

Stateline is Southlake Tahoe.
Stateline is Southlake Tahoe. There is a line through town on the NV side has the casino hotels. It's still a block from the gondola. So, ya I like the combined Stateline/SLT area very much. Lots to do, and it's a real city.

The office was nice, but you had to walk up a steep hill.
The office was nice, but you had to walk up a steep hill. This was not a problem as they have locations all through the resort to catch a ride on a shuttle bus. The drivers were very friendly. Also Bally's offers a free shuttle service to the casino. Our temperature was not in our control. After the first two days we found a window that we could open to make the temp to our liking. The television and internet did not work the last day. I admit that I did not inform them of the problem. I was so happy to be with my wife .
- spacious, clean and cozy cabin with everything you need
- well equipped and big kitchen
- perfect for 2 people; we stayed 3 nights but would have felt comfortable for way longer
- Nice location outside of South Lake Tahoe so that you can escape the busy madness there but at the same time it‘s only a 10 minute drive to reach all shops etc
- lots of trails around or within short driving range
We spent two nights at the Tahoe Summit Village in summer and we enjoyed it a lot. The Village is very quiet, close to the mountains, but only 10-15 minutes drive from beautiful beaches on Lake Tahoe. The apartment was big, clean and well equipped with everything you may need. The hotel manager was very nice and we had no problem with late check-in. Highly recommended.
The casino was great along with the staff at the Center Bar. The moment we got there, they were more than happy and willing to serve us and tell us about the casino. The hotel staff also did a good job of keeping the hotel clean in the entrance, even with all the slush and sleet outside.
I got hit by the casino bus drivers and security was really rude except for Claudia she was the only nice one! Started off with a bad morning and being my first time in Tahoe. But the casino is not that great the only nice thing is their pool! Won’t be staying there next time!
Perfect location! Minutes away from ski lifts and a short walk from Lake Tahoe beach. The one bedroom apartment offers a kitchenette equipped with everything you need.
- Location is beautiful. Nice views of the nevada low lands.
- had a kids game room that my kids loved.
- plenty of pools. although the water isnt heated.
