The view is amazing, close to conveniences, top notch breakfast treats (especially the savory scone). Very much enjoyed the hot tub with view. Gardens weren't blooming yet but the grounds were still amazing. Very relaxing to sit in Adirondack by water. We will be back!

Fantastic view, serene location, good comfortable property that is clean with good customer service. Also has a nice level 2 Tesla ev charger also. For other brands they have the nema 14-50 installed inside the garage just bring your charging cables. Wish the weather had been nicer to use the fire pit outside but that is not the fault of the property!

Very clean and with all the essentials for a weekend. It seemed like they took care of all previous complaints and that shows their professionalism. Nested in the forest and a short walk to the beach. It's less than 10 mins drive to Coupeville and that made it very convenient. We didn't have any issues with noise.

Oak Harbour is an excellent base for exploring local parks such as Fort Eby and Deception Pass, to name two of the many spectacular places nearby. Also, the ferry to Port Townsend is a few miles away and one can take a day trip, leaving the car behind in Coupeville, and wander Port Townsend’s architecturally interesting downtown and waterfront without having to wait in line with a car. Foot passengers just walk on! No reservations required. This area is definitely worth a few days of exploring. The town itself has a wonderful park on the waterfront, and for those with small kiddos, the park sports a world class playground and sprinkler park. Because it’s the “big town” in the area, it has lots of amenities as well as the usual cutesy tourist places. There are choices of places to eat and just about any kind of service you need available.

There are no stunning mountains or grand canyons but Whidbey Island is a very nice and friendly place. I look forward to my visits and there are nice parks, beaches for every sun direction, impressive long views and the same bad food as every American town.

It’s changed since I lived there many years ago.
It’s changed since I lived there many years ago. It’s lost it’s small town appeal. Chain stores have run all the mom and pop businesses out. It’s just another plaza/mall town set in a used -to-be-nice location

So many things to do.
So many things to do. Drive inn movie theater with go carts and arcade, plus they have a beer garden for adults! Oh, I forgot to say you can bring your dog as well. There are multiple state parks, which are a great way to spend a day. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores available. There is a good and responsive Doordash community. We really enjoyed the PNW Naval Air Museum. You can try a modern flight simulator and crawl into a ww2 gunner turret. The highlight for me was seeing the PBY Catalina fully restored. Such an amazing flying boat. 😍 Overall a fantastic way to spend a vacation.

It was perfect for a place to stay and visit the area.
It was perfect for a place to stay and visit the area. Only down side is its in the middle of the city so no nature, but there is nothing stopping you from visiting all the trails and hikes in the area since they are so close.

I love spending time on Whidbey Island and Oak Harbor is a friendly town with lots of amenities. I chose to stay there for work because it was in between two places I had to be on two days. I didn't get to visit too many places, but our hotel (Coachman Inn) was great.
This place is just the most convenient start and stop point. (1) It's a drop off and pick up point for the Sea Tac shuttle, (2) My room opened directly onto the parked car, both convenient and great for sorting, (not something I like in more urban environments but it works in Oak Harbor), there are upstairs options too (3) The staff are really helpful. (4) The kitchen aspects of the room handy, a good fridge and a microwave to add to the Keurig coffee.
The front staff were super helpful. She put me in a room close to the back door to get my dog in and out without a lot of interaction with other people. The site was super dog friendly and the kids really enjoyed the movie rentals they have! Beds were super comfy, I had to work one of the days I was there. The accommodations for that were great too! I would definitely go back to this place again if ever in Oak Harbor.
Good location , convenient to many activities and parks in the area. Close to Oak Harbor downtown. Good breakfast with many options and extended hours every day (till 10am). Nowadays, due to COVID breakfast is served to go. Clean and updated rooms, plenty of space to spread out. Room had a balcony but not very useful as kinda noisy and chairs with no coffee table.
it was centrally located to everything in Oak Harbor, Walgreens across the street as was the specialty grocery Haggens . Morning continental breakfast was good with choice of bagels, English muffin, toast or specialty muffins plus OJ and coffee and water for tea available all day. The room was clean and very comfortable and cozy atmosphere. Staff were lovely.
The location is right next to a naval air base so hotel should let you know there is constant noise from jets taking off and landing. Very hard to relax when noise is on and off. Also, the carpets were filthy and should be cleaned. My socks were brown on the bottom after a one night stay. Yuck.
Excellent staff! This place reminds me of something from childhood road trips where we beg our dad to stay! Unfortunately charming inns such as this one are being replaced by metal box type hotel chains. This place had everything we needed. Highly recommend!
We've been staying at this hotel at least 6-7 times in the last 10 years, as we liked location, rooms, service, breakfast. This time we were disappointed with our experience and will be looking for a different hotel on our next trip to Oak Harbor.
The view was amazing. The room was clean. They provided robes and outdoor blankets making it easy to sit on their balcony to enjoy the view. We paid extra for some of the best eggs we ever had. It was a perfect 2 night stay.
The hotel was just a short drive to downtown Oak Harbor and there was ample free parking on the property. There was lots of choice at the complimentary breakfast and staff were helpful. Beds were comfortable.
Beautiful horse property close to Oak Harbor. Gregg, the manager was super nice and made us good breakfasts. The room was large and lovely and the Jacuzzi was a bonus. We enjoyed a lovely peaceful retreat.
The hotel was located near our destination. It was easy to move in and out since our room was on street level. The breakfast was served in bags to go as advertised.
The Hotel is situated at the north boundary of Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island, from where either the downtown area or Deception Pass State Park is quickly reached.
The bed, room and hotel reception was a cut above the rest. We enjoyed the free coffee & breakfast options. No street noise and never heard our neighbours.
