Our room was clean, prepared well, and the lady who cleaned the room professional and responsive to our request.
The front desk people were all professional and readily aided us ...being that it was our first trip to Martha's Vineyard.
The Canteen, sitting area, and porch were a very nice touch and always spotless.

The inn itself is quaint and beautiful. The location is perfect: a block from the ocean and walking distance from the ferry, shops, and restaurants. The continental breakfast offered a wide variety of yummy food, the wine and cheese gathering on the porch was fun and entertaining, and the staff is a friendly bunch who go the extra mile to care for their guests-people you’d like to call friends!
Featuring scenic gardens on the grounds, this inn is located just a 2-minute drive from Martha’s Vineyard Ferry in Oak Bluffs. Free afternoon refreshments are available.

Breakfast was top notch! Proximity to great restaurants/bars was outstanding. If you are into watching the sun rise, just walk down to the corner and take a quick right. Sheer beauty!

Oak Bluffs is such an amazing and cute town. Lots of places to shop and eat. Cute historical buildings. Love the gingerbread houses! Best lobster roll you'll ever have at Martha's Vineyard Chowder Co!

There is so much rich history there.
There is so much rich history there. A definite place to visit. Don’t miss the early morning polar bear experience in the inkwell beach. Lots of nice shops and hidden art galleries. More than enough ice cream shops. Back door donuts was a nice late night treat but don’t let the long line deter you it moves rather quickly. Definitely need a car and take the time to visit all parts of the vineyard. Food was ok, not great. I was surprised that fish was not more plentiful on the menus. Must try Lobster roll, it’s everywhere.

There were many great restaurants and stores.
There were many great restaurants and stores. Beaches were ok. They were very rocky at the water line so we didn't want to go into the water. I would bring water shoes! The marina is very nice. Rent bicycles at Tony's All Star Bike Rentals! They were awesome there. We rode bikes to Edgartown and it was a really pretty ride. The ferry ride on the Island Queen was great and it put you right into the action. We walked a short distance to our hotel Summercamp.

We enjoying the shops, the good food and great ice cream. Enjoyed most of the people since they were very polite. First time there since 1969 and my children loved it so much that they want to come back along with the children.

We went off-season so had limited options but it was still great to walk around the area. It is the main area for stay and activities other than Edgartown. We went on the beach, pier, martha's vineyard chowder restaurant and Ritz bar. All seemed great to us, plus seafood was really good!!!

Loved how close we were to be able to walk everywhere.
Loved how close we were to be able to walk everywhere. The Ritz was fun to go to for music. All the restaurants we went to were fantastic! There’s more to do in Edgartown so I would probably choose to stay there instead of Oak Bluffs. But in all fairness it rained most of the time we were there so we didn’t get to do everything that I had planned.
A beautiful property located just off one of the main streets in Oak Bluffs. Easy walking distance from the ferry and to restaurants, shops and the wonderfully named "Reliable Market" supermarket.
We had the honeymoon room which has its own small balcony over the entrance porch - a beautiful room!
The decor of the whole property is clean, fresh and appealing.
Wonderful and very friendly staff. They even let us borrow some folding chairs to take to the beach.
charming place the stay in the town of oak bluffs. walkable to everything and right across from the beach. the was small but we spent time on the island in other places and the porch and living room are comfortable. The owner Henry and the staff were friendly and helpful . The capricorn house is old school quirky MV and glad we found it!
This is a sweet, old fashioned hotel with welcoming staff and cosy rooms. It is in a great location just a few minutes walk to either the beach or the Main Street where the shops and restaurants are. I had a perfect four nights there and would definitely go back!
We loved everything about this Inn! Erik, the host went above and beyond. So friendly, so helpful and accommodating. We’ve stayed at many exclusive and boutique hotels but the charm and hospitality of this Inn tops them. Thank you Erik!
Staff was exceptional! Very nice, very responsive and helpful. Location is great, easy to bike or walk to Oak Bluffs, Jaws Bridge, and bike to Edgartown. Visited friends’ room with loft; it was very luxurious.
Location is in good proximity to everything. It was clean and the room was a good size. Cute gift from the hotel. Nice porch upfront with rocking chairs to a wonderful view of the harbor right across the street.
Convenient location in Oak Bluffs town so within walking distance of restaurants, the ferry and town beaches. The room was nice with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Very clean. Nice staff.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great location and short walking distance to everything. The lemonade and cookies were delicious also!
Perfect location in Oak Bluffs. Just a few minute walk from just about everywhere!
Our host, Waddy, was wonderful. Enjoyed visiting with him and he provided great information about the island.
It is a charming place to stay. As they have spacious spaces, you can enjoy your staying in the hotel too, not only in your room. We had a quite room with garden view.
Breakfast was simple but good. The location was perfect! Directly across from Inkwell Beach and within walking distance to all of the Oak Bluffs shopping restaurants!
The location was excellent for waking to all areas in Oak Bluffs. I loved the quaint and limited number of bedrooms. I also loved the fresh smell of all of the linen!
