The women at the fromt desk (3 to 11) were fantastic, they were so professional and friendly to us, we felt as it was their home we were entering (including the new employee)

Littleton is a charming little town. We only stayed for 1 night, but it couldn't have been more pleasant. The Coffee Pot breakfast restaurant was a wonderful, fun local breakfast spot with friendly efficient service, delicious coffee and homemade options!

What a really neat little town.
What a really neat little town. Lots of little shops with eclectic arts and crafts. Lots of dinning and breweries but very little in the way of live entertainment options, which very well may have been the time of the season, Mid May. However, by 9:00 EVERYTHING was shut down! So if you crave nightlife, this isnt your town. BUT if you like beautiful scenery then it is a great place to visit.

Cute Main Street area very cute shops, great candy store and boutiques. The town has great access to nature and the drive through the white mountains has amazing views. Good local eats as well, the taproom had great apps.

Must visit- Shaun Terhune Photography shop.
Must visit- Shaun Terhune Photography shop. Seasoned professional with a wide-range of skills and services and an absolutely wonderful personality! Nearly across the street dining at Alburrito's Mexican Restaurant is also highly recommended- delicious food! And don't fail to make at least one visit to Polly's Pancakes in nearby Sugar Hill. The food is great, the view even better.

The town itself is wonderful.
The town itself is wonderful. They were following the COVID guidelines and everybody wore a mask except at the local market which floored us. We turned around right away. You need to make reservations at sit down restaurant or else you wait for hours or it is full. You need to place orders to go early on so you don't wait an hour outside for your order.
The food was excellent everywhere we ate
. A lot of nice shops and galleries. The covered bridge over the cascades was enchanting. It was magical for it was full foliage and the town is surrounded by mountains.

I love this town so much I visit every summer ,I just love all the rivers around the mountains is just so beautiful New Hampshire's so beautiful I hope one day I can buy a house there and move There forever. Is definitely not for a party person or city person is just more for people that like Peace and quiet and love nature ♥️
i loved everything about this property!! the room was so quaint and cute! i could smell the clean when we walked in! the property owners are fabulous! you can tell they love this motel!
we were only here for one night and I’d wished I’d have known just how quaint this place and town were I’d have added another day here on my 15 day tour of New England road trip!
close enough to mount Washington If you are lucky weather wise to catch the cog up to the summit! i however was not but this little motel eased my sadness 😃
For the age of this hotel (circa 1843) it was what one would expect. The floors were a little off, but structurally sound. It can't be compared to modern facilities as far as fixtures yet everything was in working order and good condition.
If you're looking for modern, sound proof or state of the art, this isn't it. However, looking at all the history behind it and the guests that have stayed here it offers a step back in time.
The staff are very accommodating, friendly, and helpful answering any questions one may have.
The outside appearance was pleasant and the pool was refreshing, though it was full of bugs.
There was no breakfast, though maybe understandable due to covid, but also there was no coffee in the room or reception area.
The room was dingy, floor vacuumed but not mopped. There was a little kitchen attached but limited accessories and no silverware.
We feel like we were overcharged for what we got.
We loved the everything about this home. We have family in Littleton and we're able to have them all over for dinner and a visit. We enjoyed the fireplace. There was a Wood stove and a firepit as well.
The view was incredible too. What a sunrise overlooking the dam.
We have another trip to Littleton coming up on the fall of 2022. Hopefully the house will be available again..
Breakfast selections were the best I have had ever at a hotel. Barb, who was responsible for breakfast, was amazing. So friendly and caring, as well as anticipating your needs.
It was also great that they are pet friendly!!!
The room was very clean and smelled very fresh. There was no indication that other pets may have been in the room.
The atmosphere was pretty historical and had a great history.. the area was charming and nostalgic. I loved the fact they are dog friendly.. the price for the room was pretty reasonable. The hotel itself was charming. I loved the mix of old and new decor. Between the wonky doors not closing to the room decor. I'd stay there again.
We stayed at a lot of hotels on this trip during covid and this was one of the few that had to-go breakfast. Most other places had nothing or a paid option only. It’s close to state parks also in a beautiful location. Definitely go to the Freehouse Taproom a short drive away.
Thayers Inn is a character property located in the centre of Littleton. Get location for the town, with parking provided at the rear of the property. The property has character and provided a basic breakfast if required.
I chose the hotel in large part because of the electric vehicle charging capability in the parking next door - and it worked out as planned (only two places to charge but no wait needed for the several hour charge.)
