I like the historic architecture and the variety of privately owned eateries. My favorite spots are the Colonial Inn, where I stay when I am in town. They have great food, cozy rooms, and great hospitality. It is fairly easy to get to from the surrounding areas. I felt safe walking about town, even late at night. WE are usually there to attend concerts at the Tally Ho theater which is right around the corner from the inn. Once we are checked in we usually go everywhere on foot.

Nice town near a lot of historical sites.
Nice town near a lot of historical sites. We did Harpers Ferry on our way into the city. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, some with music. Definitely go to Gruto‘s ice cream store, one of the best soft serve we’ve found.

Leesburg is a wonderful town!
Leesburg is a wonderful town! It has all of the feel of history but all updated just the perfect touch. The designers really knew what they were doing here. One of the coolest things I saw was a brick front building all attached all the way down the street but this one is a coffee shop. One of the windows was opened up to serve street side coffee and baked goods. If you pass through the door the rest of the building is missing, it is a court yard! I could not stop staring at this coolest acrchtecual design! There is so much to see and to do! Just gazing up and down the street from an open air café would make the stay worth it. Stay right in town at the Colonial Inn, breakfast is great every morning and dinner in the evening at either of the local resteraunts all are good or treat yourself to some really unique resteraunts, my personal favorites, the Lightfoot resteraunt in a beautiful old bank or travel about 30 min away down back roads to Hunters Head Resteraunt in a 1700s built home. Make sure you get a reservation in advance of your stay! Leesburg is the most delightful town! You are sure to love it!

It was a nice short trip.
It was a nice short trip. Red Rock Overlook was very pretty if you like hiking. It was a bit muddy when we went but good hiking shoes solves that. Visited Oatlands Historic House and Gardens, it was very pretty not crowded at all and just really serene. Went to Mom's Apple Pie Bakery a little line and that's how you know it's good. Also, grabbed a sub from Puccio's New York Deli it reminded me of home, that sub was straight fire.

Didn’t get to experience the town very much.
Didn’t get to experience the town very much. Only there for one night. We did have an excellent dinner at Melt Gourmet Burgers! Check them out for a casual delicious burger experience if you are in Leesburg.
We were traveling from out of state for a 5pm Friday wedding and were hoping to check in earlier than the 4pm time . I called the hotel in the morning as we were leaving and requested the earlier check in in order to prepare for the wedding , if possible. Although the front desk staff person could not guarantee the room would be ready he understood my request and made a note of it . Fortunately, we were able to check in at 3 pm so we didn’t have to stress about being late to the wedding. Appreciated their sensitivity to the situation .
Fairly comfortable and quiet. The young woman who seemed in charge of housekeeping on Thursday morning, 6/23, provided outstanding service to me - I had dropped a shirt I was carrying in the parking lot the night before. I asked if anyone had turned it in. This person found my shirt stuck under a car wheel in the parking lot. She not only retrieved it when that car left, but also put it thru the hotel laundry! Really went above and beyond.
Breakfast items were very limited but adequate - appreciated the Unsweetened apple sauce.
The staff was friendly and helpful….I liked the location it was close walking distance to my daughter’s home….the King Street and side street areas were full of wonderful shops and restaurants to explore, a short walking distance….if I had a car there seemed to be good parking behind the hotel…..The Cafe has indoor and outdoor seating there was a wonderful variety on the menu for breakfast and what I ordered was good.
Breakfast is awesome. Waffle are missing already :) Maids are fantastic, always checking the room and changing towels. bed are very comfortable, I would say that there are the best bed ever slept in a hotel. Light in the parking with security cameras is making the place more secure.
I came to town for a wedding so I wanted something clean and close. This hotel had ample parking, the staff was very friendly, and it was 5 minutes from the Leesburg city centre. The room was clean and so were the beds! I would stay here again if I came back to town.
Quiet environment!
Good location!
Great breakfast!
Clean room!
Excellent and helpful Staff!
This is the hotel I strongly recommend.
btw, it's also a very nice place to stay for business traveling since there are cozy desktops and chairs in the room.
The best part about the hotel is the breakfast. They go over and above. Staff make to order omelettes each day as well as other egg choices and sausage. Plenty of yogurt, fruit and cereals as well. The manager and staff are very courteous
Spa is actually very good. Hotel layout itself, very nice. Lots of outdoor space, overlooking potomac. Golf course looks amazing. Plenty of nooks and fire places etc, for sitting and catching up with friends. Staff was great.
It’s a super quaint hotel. The staff was really friendly and nice! Our room had a street view and it was fun watching people. Location couldn’t get any better and there were a bunch of options for breakfast!
Ok it is older nothing fancy, but great location old school inn.
Awesome for the price. Great if you do not want to drink and drive.
If you like hotel chains this is not the place for you.
nice people and friendly ,but for a hotel their was no tooth paste or tooth brush for us to use.
They are kind and the food was nice. The manager was very friendly
It was right off the exit and super super clean!! Probably the cleanest hotel i’ve ever stayed in and I travel a lot. The staff was also very nice and kind.
