The loft unit was wonderful with beautiful views, and Charlie at the main front office was outstanding; very kind, helpful and full of positive energy.
Looking forward to returning during ski season.

The cabin is darling. I just hope it was sufficiently cleaned before we left. We were there because I was diagnosed with stage 4 uterine cancer and we gathered to have an early Christmas dinner. We unfortunately, did not get to stay the night as I wasn't feeling well. I was sad to have to leave because the cabin was so sweet. This would be a great place for any couple to spend a romantic evening or to enjoy a few days away in the summer.
It is a nice little small town. Downtown has some nice shops, one of which hosted "Witches night out" of which I was a vendor at. Roaring Underground is set up as a vintage shop in front and a speakeasy bar in the back. Next door is metaphysical store that has a lot of really beautiful things. Getting around town is fairly easy. Our favorite place in town, is Charlie's Café! The food is wonderful and the staff are great!

Enumclaw as about a 40 minute drive away from Crystal Mountain. The small town locals were friendly and accomodating. Downtown they had saved the original buildings and were using them for the local business scene.
There were many choices of local (non-chain) small restaurants, for Covid compliant take-out meals, outdoor dining (with gas heaters) and when allowed, in-door dining options too.

Good place to put gas in your car if going around Mt.
Good place to put gas in your car if going around Mt. Rainier. Rode the Gondola - can even take dogs. Enjoyed the meal at the Summit House and taking pictures. Wapiti Wooleys has a great assortment of gifts and coffee and ice cream. Drove our own car. Need to pay attention to the sign to Paradise 123 - easy to miss, but then I go walk around Tipsoo Lake and return and the sign is easier to see. Really nothing to avoid next time.

Really appreciated all the outdoor dining available.
Really appreciated all the outdoor dining available. Having come from 3 days in Port Angeles where there was no outdoor dining we enjoyed sitting in the big pavilion with lots of picnic tables to eat our lunch.
Also enjoyed Sequel Books where used books are neatly arranged by category and author and we were even able to buy a used puzzle.

Enumclaw is a great small town in just a beautiful area.
Enumclaw is a great small town in just a beautiful area. The views of Mt. Rainier are amazing as are the surrounding foothills. Just east of Enumclaw is an incredible drive with hiking opportunities. Downtown is a quaint small town downtown with shops and restaurants. Hidden gem is a Mexican Food truck La Esquina (the corner) in a parking lot by Napa Auto Parts on 410 West bound on way to Buckley. Some of the best Mexican food in the Seattle area for sure with homemade tortillas which are always a game changer.
We arrived at dark, in rain, several hours after the office was closed, equipped with (excellent) text message instructions for where to find the envelope with keys. The envelope also contained a map of the property, so finding our room was a breeze. Within minutes, we were all settled in the cozy living room. Fabulously close to Crystal Mt. resort, much nicer than the accommodation facilities near the gondola, with a well-equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher!) Alta is the perfect place for a winter getaway.
Easy access in beautiful Enumclaw. Good parking, friendly check in, very clean, peaceful courtyard garden, on site restaurant. Two stories. All unit doors face the courtyard and exit to the outside.
Bathtub/shower has a firmly mounted towel rack that doubles as a grab bar.
Good cable TV. Good Wi-Fi.
the only motel in town. nearest is 10 miles away. the town is wonderful. we stayed here 2 years back. not much improvement in the physical area. old fixtures, holes in walls, ancient putty work. great maid service. office staff stayed in office behind plexi glass. nice people though.
Close to Crystal Mountain, right off the highway. Rustic and cozy. Pool and hot tub. Dog friendly. Living room area. Though these units are clearly dated, they’ve made some nice updates (new flooring, paint, wall art). No problem with the Wi-Fi which allowed me to work remotely!
The facility was close to the entrance for Mount Rainier National Park. The town that was near the hotel was cute and clean. There were some good restaurants to choose from.
