Awesome property. Came here to visit family while on military leave. The location was great especially for people with kids. Large backyard, wall plugs for outlets. Nothing too fancy which was perfect for us with toddlers. Would stay again.

Manager needs to go behind cleaning crew to make sure all rooms are clean, or DO IT PERSONALLY. The idea of inspecting a room within the first 10-15 minutes only is legal, but scammy. How many people check in, then go off to eat, shop, socialize, simply expecting a clean room? I could not imagine spending a night on someone else's dirty sheets, with their BEER BOTTLES scattered around the room. There were no clean towels; dirty towels on the floor. The whole place just seemed sleazy, low-rent, and unsanitary.

I failed to mention in my original review that there weren’t any instructions to login to the WiFi network. It was as if the room was completely void of any help from the property management. As I said before, there was nothing in the room to offer anything in the way of basic help. I rated my stay as fair only because the room was much better than expected for the price. To have no help at all for even basic things; I should have given one less star. If I had stayed longer I would have approached management about that glaring issue. If I return in the future I will ask about changes before I book.

Dukes restaurant next door was great dining experience. Lunch was great value for the money. catfish and shrimp were very good. Not as good as the old LaFluers in Walker. Denham has done very good restoring itself after the flood.

For a small town in Louisiana, Denham Springs has a huge supply of antique shops and reclaimed furniture and home furnishings stores. Meet so many friendly people. Don’s Seafood Restaurant was a true surprise with steaks and lots of seafood (not all fried) and some great cocktails.

The coffee pot in our room actually worked which isn't always the case at most budget friendly hotels. There wasn't any sketchy activity as far as I could tell and I felt safe enough to walk to the shops and restruarnts that are super close by (dons seafood is literally next door) the day time stay off was friendly and check in was simple. I rooms are big for the price you pay and we'll kept and clean. Id def come back again.
