This is, BY FAR, the most efficient, clean and comfortable stay in Transylvania County, NC. We had a wonderful time, an exceptional stay, and always felt safe and welcomed. Oh, and not to mention that the "included breakfast" (with its many choices) was very hot and delicious!
We would like to graciously thank the entire staff! We are DEFINITELY coming back one day, and this IS where we wil always l choose to stay!

Beautiful property. Food good, not exceptional. Rooms comfortable, clean. Quiet. Attractive main lodge architecture. Staff pleasant, but minimal. Return, doubtful.

I loved EVERYTHING about my stay here! Already planning to come back, hopefully in the near future. It’s very peaceful here. It’s away from all the hustle and bustle of town, but still close enough to drive to where you need to go, if you want to leave. I didn’t. I spent most of my time enjoying the views from the cabin.

Pilot Cove is located just outside the Pisgah National Forest, I was able to reach several trail heads for hiking within a 15 minute drive. Some biking trail heads are right on the edge of the property. The small town of Brevard was also only a 10 minute drive to the south, with small shops, breweries, and restaurants.

Great location close to the centre of Brevard, close enough to walk with a selection of bars and restaurants. The surrounding area has a host of walking opportunities in the forests, riverside walks, and waterfalls.
The local breweries are also worth a visit with a great selection of beers available.

Quaint and charming town.
Quaint and charming town. Loved the hiking trails and falls even though it was raining. If looking for somewhere to eat definitely check out Square Root restaurant downtown. 5 stars for food and service.

We loved hiking the Looking Glass Overlook trail as well as looking at the waterfalls in the area. Getting around was incredibly easy. I was worried we’d get lost with no signal for GPS, but they had everything labeled with signs and it was easy to find our way.

Honestly, my son and I found ourselves a little bored with 4 days to spend there. There's lots of quaint shops and mountain bike trails that were too advanced for us. We couldn't find the main paved bike path of the town. The AWESOME guy at Squatch Bike Rentals - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! - told us how to get there. We had been right on top of it of the path, but it was not obvious at all. We would have missed out on the most fun part of our trip. That was an awesome ride for a forty-something mom and a twelve-year-old boy who spends most his time gaming. Hey, we got outside. Score a point for Brevard. Two other points for Brevard: Kiwi Gelato and Mantiques. We also loved the white squirrels. 2 - 3 days max, and you'll appreciate Brevard.

We attended the Brevard Music Festival which was a short drive from the Campbell House. We were within walking distance of several nice restaurants. We went to Marco Tratorria across the street, the Blue Ridge Bakery, Quotations for coffee and a muffin and Falls Landing for great seafood.
