The Bethesdan Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, hotel in Bethesda

This Bethesda hotel is located in the downtown shopping and entertainment district. The hotel offers on-site dining options.

Wanted to try out a hotel in Bethesda because I always go to DC. And let’s just say I was disappointed. When we walked into our room I expected the room to be as picture as the “deluxe king” bedroom they had pictured online…and when I called front desk to ask about it they stay that the picture was just used and that the picture I saw was for a room where “presidential” or I guess “important guest stayed. Also this hotel was packed with loud teenage boys and drunk woman following them through the hallways…definitely not a hotel for adults or if you’re planning to come here for work.

I found my stay in Bethsida an excellent experience because it was easy to commute from one place to another. Restaurants, shopping malls, DC metro station etc were easily accessible. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is nice. I loved the water pressure from the shower and the view from my window. You will find staying in this hotel and area a joy except to remember requesting for your room to be cleaned daily otherwise, you get to sleep in an uncleaned room daily. The hotel serves only breakfast so be ready to find good restaurants around for your lunch or breakfast and dinner. I visited TATE which is across the road daily for a superb meal.

Cleanliness was excellent, food was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful. However, there was no shuttle, the pool was small and unavailable most of the time, and when it was ,it was filled with children. No ability to stream new movies or selection. Would have paid to see movies but they were not available.

I always liked Bethesda, for its village atmosphere and wide range of shops and restaurants. My favourite restaurant this visit was Mon Ami Gabi, a perfect and authentic French restaurant (although the staff say they are concerned that a planned revamp will lose it some of its charm). I was sorry to see that some favourite stores have gone, Orvis on Wisconsin Avenue and the book store on Bethesda and Arlington. There used to be a Ranger Surplus store in Bethesda, now there isn't even one in Rockville......

I had a great stay for three nights. It was quiet and comfortable with a fantastic bed. I used the gym during my stay, it has excellent new equipment, and the hotel is located in a good neighborhood. I will certainly be back.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and large. On the negative side, there were issues with the credit card machine on check in, only decaf coffee in our room, and our wifi was shut off in the morning well before check out.

I travel to Maryland for business about once a month. These accommodations FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. Much better than the hotels that I have stayed at. Fully furnished apartment that was spacious, clean and conveniently located within minutes of where I was working. The building is also located in the Woodmont Triangle so you have no shortage of options for food and entertainment. I will almost certainly be looking to book again at Global Luxury Suites Bethesda :)

Now that the COVID environment has dampened it would be of tremendous value to all Customers that the continental breakfast return since the hotel rates haven’t changed. Breakfast was traditionally factored into the room rates so………. When will the Marriott give customers the full benefits of choosing Marriott?

Quietness, good size of room, comfort bed. At first glance, the hotel makes a favorable impression, the room is renovated, and, what is very comfortable, the room has very good sound insulation, you can’t hear either the neighbors or the street.
