National Hotel Jackson, hotel in Amador City

National Hotel Jackson has accommodations in Jackson. The 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi.

Great location in the very center of town along with convenient free parking. Although an historic building and decor, the amenities were very modern; i.e., the shower/bathroom; etc. The bed and linens were VERY comfortable--right up there with five-star hotels that offer their bedding for purchase!

Amador City is a very small "city" (actually the smallest in the state) located in the heart of California's Gold Rush Country. It is the perfect spot for someone seeking tranquillity, good food, good wine and proximity to nature. Nearby you can explore the place where gold was first discovered. The food at the Imperial Hotel is very good, but we chose to travel the five minutes to Sutter Creek for a wonderful dinner at the Hotel Sutter. Both towns are very easily walked, with lots of sweet antique shops to check out.

Quaint little town with friendly people and a few cute shops. The Imperial Hotel is a fun spot to stay and the food is excellent. I’ve stayed there when a friend and I were the only guests there and we had dinner alone and we received the same great service as when the restaurant had many guests. The breakfast included with stay is delicious. Amador is close To Sutter up the road and Jackson which also have many cute shops. Check before going to see what days shops are open. Also an awesome area for wine tastings. Again check for days wineries are open.

Amador City is a charming, quiet, small town. Very relaxing!

Amador City is a charming, quiet, small town. Very relaxing! Be forewarned that almost all shops and restaurant are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, though! Amador is close to tons of nearby vineyards and wineries, and has a few good ones itself.

Amador City is a very quiet town and great place to stay. Unfortunately there was very minimal available since we stayed right after the christmas holiday. It was great, but very limited. Awesome and accomodating. Did not get to enoy the resteraunt in the evening. Wish there had been a better offering for breakfast but i understand. Deffinantly coming back at a different time to enjoy.
