Bahari Pori Resort, hotel in Pangani

Situated in a mangrove forest with access to a sandy beach, Bahari Pori Resort features an outdoor swimming pool. It also offers a restaurant and several thatched roof tents and cottages.

There are individual huts or cabins, each with its own place to sit outside in the shade, wìth a comfortable and well furnished interior. The service was very good indeed, as was the food. A walk through the mangroves at low tide to the sea is also thoroughly recommended, as is a visit to Pangani and the market.

Ushongo Beach Bandas, hotel in Pangani

Located a few steps from Ushongo Beach, Ushongo Beach Bandas provides accommodation with a garden, a bar and room service for your convenience. Free WiFi is provided.

I found the accommodation at the Ushongo Beach Bandas on the Internet - booking.com I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the hotel and its services. The hotel and its team is responsible, professional. Everything has been done the way it should have been done. The team provided great food, great company, assistance, and responsibility for tourists' safety. The staff is VERY client focused, it cares for tourists and is ready to do client service at very HIGH standards! Therefore if you consider choosing a hotel to go to Pangani, JUST GO for the Ushongo Beach Bandas. You will not regret it. The owner of the hotel is very knowledgeable, professional, ready to help and advice at any stage of your trip. PS. For me Pangani is a very interesting place to see and experience, especially, if you want to feel nature, the Indian Ocean and be in a quiet area. Better than Zanzibar.

Lui Ushongo Beach House, hotel in Pangani

Comprising a private beach area and a terrace, Lui Ushongo Beach House is a recently renovated accommodation in Pangani situated close to Ushongo Beach.

We had such a lovely time at Ushongo beach house. It is a very relaxing place, right on the sea front - the sunrises in the morning were stunning. All the staff were so kind - Lucy cooked us amazing food, Rahim was very helpful and Louis made sure that my friend made it to the airport on time, and let me check out late and enjoy my last day. It felt like they went out of their way to make our stay easy and comfortable. Nice food next door also, fresh catch of the day. I'd highly recommend!

An hour's drive down a dirt road from Pangani Beach airstrip...

An hour's drive down a dirt road from Pangani Beach airstrip we found ourselves at the remote and beautiful Kijongo Bay. We received a warm welcome from Luke & Anita and their friendly team. Nothing was too much trouble. The beach stretches as far as the eye can see with only us and the local fishermen and women there. Swimming in the Indian Ocean is warm and inviting. We had deeply relaxing massages and a beautiful walk to the nearby mangroves to look at the bird life and watch the sun go down. The baboons were in the coconut trees watching our progress. We felt disconnected from the outside world (although there is WiFi) and were rested and restored when we returned to the 'real world'.
