Location was great, near everything. Breakfast was nice but may be needs more varieties everyday as we were bored after few days. The room was nice; a bit small though. The pool was great & clean, room had a lovely view on the pool. The staff are super friendly & helpful.

I didn't know about Grave / Chapwani Private Island until I came across the property on Booking.com. It was by far the best place to stay in Zanzibar given how much I needed to unwind after a 'weird' 2021` (COVID was only part of this year), and how I don't like noise and being hassled by vendors. The staff really made my stay very relaxing. Very attentive and a friendly, they made me feel welcome as a solo traveler. There's a lot of natural beauty to enjoy on the island and the hermit crabs AND coconut crabs were fascinating to watch, and the fruit bats were interesting to observe too. There's just a lot of serenity around this place...
