My hometown, Butuan City is now progressive compared when we left in 1983.It has now big malls like SM and Robinsons; many hotels are also mushrooming and there are a lot of fast food chains and local restaurants offering good food.

Staying at the Grand Palace was made and later seen as best place to stay. The accommodations are big rooms with cold air con on high. Yes the single room is just that and not much extra. The bigger rooms are a little more for so much more room. The whole set up works great.
Then know, there are no food stop’s anywhere near by. The Gaisono and SM are a good walk, or if too sweaty a day, take tricycles there. Food galore. Taxis play the main streets and tricycles take the local back streets. Many one or other not allowed to go.
Downtown has all needed as the Hotel, malls, and official places need to go.
Being in remote places here it is a great relief to go.

Typical of a small Filipino city.
Typical of a small Filipino city. Two very good malls, Robinson's and SM with SM being new and having lots of choices of eating places. Robinson's lost a few restaurants because of covid and some never reopened so a few empty places. Traffic is OK but the drivers are sometimes not considerate of other drivers but I guess that's typical of any city They keep the tricycles away from the malls so that is a good thing as they can be very annoying to other drivers. . Didn't venture out to see any sights as our stay was short but I guess there are places to visit if you are so inclined.

A lot of places to explore for Cultural Heritage, fun, and shopping. It is also near Siargao and the tourist destinations in Surigao del Sur. A perfect gateway to the Caraga Region. The tourism information office at the airport and other locations in the city are helpful. Taxis are abound to bring you to your destination within the city proper.

I live in Surigao and the road from there to Butuan is a horrible road and I do not like driving along it at night so when I travel to Butuan I like to stay the night. So I cannot really give a view of Butuan unless you want to know about Robinson's mall.
Me and my friend loved everything. The staff were patient, kind, friendly and accommodating to my every requests. I have been in contact with them early on because of my business needs and they satisfied it. My friend even said it was a good choice of hotel. The free shuttle was fantastic. The driver was very friendly. But our most favourite (we didn't expect omg) the sizzling tofu!!!!! Must try! The foods were really lovely. Seriously, I have nothing bad to say. We will def go back if we found ourselves back in Butuan.
Go hotels butuan is in the building of Robinsons mall hence it is a very good location. there are restaurants and fastfood nearby and a few are open 24hrs so you can always pop out for midnight snacks. hospitals and banks nearby. Very friendly staff. I have a baby and I needed to sterilise bottles through microwave and they were always happy to let me use their microwave to sterilise bottles and my pumps.
The property is peaceful and serene despite it located in the middle of the city. The greenery in and around the property gives the guests a perfect get away to unwind and relax. It is place where guests are able to to breathe, smile, and live again to appreciate the beauty of nature.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They really let you feel at home and one with the family.
property is in close proximity with the city public market, a plus. Traffic is somewhat pretty busy during business hours; the street is a major access road to and from the market. Parking is minimal, on the side of the public street. The shower has an electric hot water supply. This facility is good for a budget accommodation and is affordable.
My wife and I had a lovely stay I would recommended the property to other people and we are looking forward to staying again.
The property was clean tidy and well equipped the only thing we noticed that wasn't so good was the smell in the bathroom but I think that is the same everywhere in Butuan as I have found that everywhere I have stayed.
Very comfortable bed. Excellent included buffet breakfast out by the huge pool with waterfall into the attached children's pool. Centrally located on main road, 100 meters from huge A/C shopping mall. I've stayed at this hotel when visiting this city for 10 years.
Great facilities, nice buffet breakfast for guests, nice rooms and the staff plus central location were great. Solid WiFi in rooms. Close to SM mall. Helpful and friendly when asking for advice for getting around city and asking to hire taxis etc.
The hotel has all the facilities you can ask for in a Boutique Hotel. The location is perfect for it is not difficult to get a taxi or even a public utility vehicle to and from the area. The Staff are exceptional both in service and how they look.
Located at a residential area and you'll feel at peace at feel at home staying here. If only I have known this place even before pa, dito na sana ako pabalik balik. I will surely stay here when I'm back in Butuan. I am a fan of guesthouse stay.
Its not fancy but great value for a quiet room with A/C and WiFi in living room/kitchen.
Location a little difficult to find but right in heart of Butuan and close to mall/bus station
Caretaker/host very friendly and helpful
I loved the quality and variety of the food available at the breakfast buffet. The position of the hotel, within walking distance of the city center and malls is what I noticed immediatly while deciding where to stay.
The staff was very promptly accommodating .
The room was spacious and the shower was very nice.
It wasn’t too far from the airport. We were there for it’s convenient location for our morning flight out of Butuan.
I like the location since it was just at the back of SM Butuan, the room was clean and big enough for 1 person with table and chair and a place to keep your things
Loved the peacefulness and staff friendliness. Exec suite was well worth it and breakfast was perfect. This place seems like a 4 star hotel to me not 3.
