Incredibly large room. Very comfortable. The staff provided free breakfast on the account that I faced some problems with water supply in my room.

Excellent location right next to the beach, access to the terrace at the top of the building to view the sunrise, good AC, good Wi-Fi, two bathrooms, hot water, free parking, friendly staff
Excellent location. But I would suggest that you allocate a separate place away from the hotel rooms for the scrap items as otherwise it invites snakes and scorpions to the rooms. Also recommend a Table Fan at the food lobby.

It a quiet port town.
It a beautiful little white town.
It a quiet port town.
It a beautiful little white town.
However, compared to the world's famous tourist destinations, it will be a little inferior.
But if you travel in Oman, it would be a good candidate.

Only best place to book is Ra's al jinz resort to see turtles laying eggs. Walk from the resort to the nesting beach is around 1.5 km wear comfortable shoes. Nothing else to do except turtle watch. Avoid the turtle museum on second floor it's not at all maintained and charges 2 RO ( 5 USD) not worth. Book tents they are good and gives you a camping feeling with comfort of a room.

Small town - not a huge amount to do here, we went for a walk along the beach, looked at the lighthouse, and ate at Zaki restaurant (try the butter chicken). We mainly stayed there to break up the journey between the Bimmah Sinkhole (beautiful and definitely worth a visit!), and Wahiba sands. Wouldn't stay here for longer than one night!

Seemed like an underdeveloped and old city.
Seemed like an underdeveloped and old city.
My experience was spoilt due to Covid regulations. We did a PCR Test in Nizwa City (Badr Al Samaa Hospital - they claimed that the reports could be collected from any of their branches in other cities). However collecting the report took us an hours' time, which threw us off our schedule to drive and experience Sur City.

sur is vey beautiful city . it has a very clean beaches and historical places as well. You can visit these places such as Al Sinsilah Fort and Fatah AL Khair Ship. You can enjoy a boat Ride for 15 minutes in Khor Al Batah. from sur you can vsist so many beautiful places such as Ras Al Had and Khor Jarama
The best hotel for all of our stay in Oman. We booked 3 rooms for our group of 6 people. It's not just our rooms, but the entire hotel is very clean. The bathroom was also clean and smelled great. The location was convenient for us to explore the beaches close to Sur. We went to a hidden beach called Al-Khesah which is about 30 mins drive from the hotel. The beach was pristine and completely empty. This is no doubt one of best beaches I've ever been to. It is also convenient to drive to Bidiyah from this hotel.
Although the hotel may seem simple and basic, it is very clean and well-equipped. Our sea view room was big, comfortable, had a balcony. Breakfast was delicious, staff were very friendly. Location is good too, 5 minutes drive from the lighthouse and directly next to a restaurant (which we would also highly recommend - big portions, delicious!). Overall, if you're coming to Sur for a visit, Al Ayjah Plaza is excellent.
Comfortable villa with several sea-view rooms in a beautiful location on a rock overlooking a private beach located 500m from Wadi Shab entrance. Our host was super nice, arranged a local-style dinner and continental breakfast and also spent a day as our guide in Wadi Shab at a very reasonable price (12 OMR). We enjoyed his company tremendously and the wadi visit was one of the best experiences in Oman.
The room was large, clean, and comfortable (bed was very* firm - good for me, but FYI). Strong wifi in common areas. Abdullah, the owner is very nice. There is no sign on the hotel (as of March 2022) - it's exactly where it's pinned on googlemaps, a creamy-yellowish converted home with a clear parking area outside a nice outdoor area. It's 2 or 3 houses off the road toward the sea.
This Hotel has a very nice beach view. It also has good pool for kids & place for them to play. Room was clean and amenities were decent. Breakfast and dinner was very good. Hotel staff were very friendly & co-operative. Our family members enjoyed our stay at this resort. We will surely visit again. Highly recommended for other travelers.
Very cheap, especially compared to the only other hotel in the area for turtle watching. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are very spacious and free parking on site. Walking distance to the Ras-al Jinz Turtle Reserve for turtle watching. Free water, as seems to be the case for all hotels in Oman.
Staffs were all very nice and well mannered. The hotel is located beautifully as you get petrol station within 200-300 meters, restaurants at walking distance (one of the restaurants are from the hotel itself with separate entry as well, Zaki Restaurant) and almost every facilities are very close.
The hotel interior was very nice. We could sit down in the inside courtyard and enjoy a welcome Omani Coffee with Dates. The pool adjacent to the restaurant makes for a great after dinner drinks setting and morning breakfast setting. The breakfast buffet was delicious and has a lot of choices.
The tents were really nice and spacious. You get to see the turtles first at night (before people coming from other hotels) and at sunrise (we were the only ones!). The price is quite high but you are in the reserve and have included two visits to see the turtles
the place was nice , clean , well organized , the staff is very cooperative and helpful especially Mr Ajnas, what an amazing manager for the hotel , I loved the place and would recommend it to all my friends
Great little hotel in the center of Sur, very clean, perfect if you want a nice place from where to explore the area. Dinner at the Sur Seafood Restaurant behind the hotel is highly recommended.
The hotel offers good value for money for a quick overnight stay in Sur. It has a clean room, although the style is tacky, but it doesn't matter for one night. The beds were comfortable.
Very nice hotel, splendid view if your room is higher up, located about 10 minutes from Sur, between the old city and the economic development zone. You will need a car.
Conveniently located, with easy parking, Sur Hotel was an ok place to stay for a night. The manager was friendly and it was quite good value for the price.
