The owners of this B&B were simply the nicest people one can imagine. They were very friendly and had lots of useful tips for our onward journey. The room and bathroom were also very nice, with good beds, and as a bonus a deck to sit and enjoy a beautiful garden full of birds.

Very comfortable - a big apartment space. Lovely outlook into a stunning lush lawn and trees, sunny. Quiet and private. Homely, also with books, mags and games. For me the location was excellent and it is close to town. Places recommended to eat were really great. Couldn't find a TV - but that wasn't a biggy for me as there were good Wifi connection for a laptop. Madeline was an excellent communicator and this helped the whole process be very easy - thanks for a great stay Madeline

We were in Warkworth for "Warkworth Walks" a three day weekend of walking around Warkworth and outer regions. A large Annual event unfortunately it is not advertised to the local businesses and many of the shops were closed. Pleasantly surprised by the number of shops, cafe and restaurants including a countdown nearby. Would definitely visit again rather than passing through. The chocolate brown cafe was amazing for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The Warkworth hotel was nice for a drink or meal and the many other restaurants nearby which was nice. Can easily venture up to Matakana or Omaha by driving in around 10 mins which is handy too. Highly recommended !

A perfect place to stay and chill out, away from big city noise. The beautiful, parklike setting of the village beside the river is perfect. Early century buildings and interesting shopping, galleries and cafes combine to present a gentil village atmosphere. Beaches and boating are nearby at Sandspit or try Omaha Beach for a swim. The grounds are beautiful - I walked around in borrowed gumboots and enjoyed all the trees and incredible bird live. The hosts are that perfect balance of super welcoming and helpful (such good people!) but also allowing one to enjoy the property freely and privately. The location is just excellent - actually even better than I thought when I booked it. It's just so handy to everything in the whole Matakana area including Tawharanui.
