Orewa is easy to find and has excellent choice for food - the whole area is well laid out and in a wonderful setting of mature trees, parks, walkways, convenient access to beach and parking. The shops are interesting and locals friendly. Just feels like a peaceful easy place to be.

A friendly small town but packed full of different cafes and restaurants.
I know it can get very busy during the peak summer months but late summer seems to be a good time to visit. Busy but not crowded.

The beach was within walking distance and it was a nice sandy very clean beach. There was plenty of free parking for people travelling or those living further away.
You have everything you need all in walking distance, so no need for a car if you are staying locally.
There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes.
Most properties had a sea view, and if you are staying in one of the hotels you will see an amazing sunset.

Orewa is amazing. We used to live nearby.
Orewa is amazing. We used to live nearby. Absolutely a place to stay for any age. Now there's lots of pavement dining and great restaurants and bars. The beach is stunning. Lots of locals and visitors walk up and down the beach. Great for dog-walking, but be aware of when you keep your dog on a lead.
We were so pleased! The condo was spacious and perfect for my family of three...we all had our own rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The full kitchen was perfect for cooking at home. It's located just across from Orewa beach and a block from the restaurants and grocery stores. There were boogie boards, washer/dryer, wifi...really it had everything and it is perfect for a larger family or even two families as it has two living room areas with large TV. We were just so happy with the accommodations and hope to stay again!
Yes! No more hotel keys to carry around and worry about losing them, you enter a code on door, shampoo/conditioner and body wash dispensers, big bathroom area, great location, just a hop skip and jump away to orewa beach, courtyard outside room to sit and enjoy the sun, can walk to main orewa shopping to enjoy cafes, supermarkets, etc. lois was awesome, she txted and phoned when room was ready, met her in the carpark and she wanted to check with us if we were ok with the room and anything we needed. what a star ⭐️
The unit was lovely with everything you need for a short stay. I was extremely impressed with how clean it was. The host was lovely and even brought us some bug spray, fresh milk in fridge and teas and coffees. It is so conveniently situated 2 mins away from main Orewa beach and multiple restaurants and cafes as well as the New World. Would recommend to anyone!!
Beautiful, homely house, spotlessly clean and with every amenity you could want. Toys, games and books for the kids were especially appreciated, kitchen very well equipped, and welcoming hosts who have thought of everything. Great walk by the estuary nearby and an easy drive to Orewa and the beach. We'd return without hesitation.
Silverdale Garden Stay is an amazing enclave of tranquility in heavily populated North Auckland. The apartment is wonderfully provisioned with everything a traveler could need and all is situated in a magnificent garden. It will amaze any first time guest and like us, they will likely want to stay again.
The location suited during an extended stay in Auckland for a family bereavement and the management were very helpful around unplanned extension of my stay.
The room was well serviced, parking convenienet and the laundry facility a much needed service while on a 4 week stay.
Great place to stay when travelling from Far North to Akld where we caught. long haul flight. We always enjoy staying at the Beachcomber which is conveniently located for beach walks and restaurants, cafes in central Orewa.
The property offered both morning and afternoon outdoor seating areas. Although it was on the main highway in Orewa, it was almost completely soundproof. It was only a two-minute walk around the corner to the beach.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely spa bath and kitchenette. Location near to the beach was great. We enjoyed the use of the free wi-fi as well as Sparksport & Netflix.
I liked that the location was nice and quiet for north shore Auckland. Also liked the service of the owner . Showing us how to operate the chemical toilet properly
Very nice garden, good location to go to the airport by car. Orewa beach is very close. Small room is small indeed but o.k. Lager room offers lots of space
Lovely staff, location, beach, view. Super comfy large bed. Perfect set up with everything in the studio. Sea breeze, ideal getaway living in Auckland.
