I loved to stay in the old farmhouse in the contryside. I arrived at a short notice and they wormed up the house. I had the hole house for myself so i cold play the old piano all to myself.

This was reflected in the good value price. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic and OK. The Hotel was 30mins drive to Hellesylt so great for catching the early morning Car Ferry to Geiranger, which was the main reason we chose this Hotel. The views from our room and balcony, of the lake and mountains, were fantastic. So definitely a great location.

They did transfer us to their Geiranger hotel which was nice but completely out of the way for the rest of our itinerary so we stayed one night and asked for a refund for the other two nights. They said a refund would have to come via Booking.com but so far no response. 😡

This house has a lot of charm, without direct neighborhood and is very peaceful. And the host is very sympathic.
