Los Mochis is our jumping off point for the Copper Canyon...
Los Mochis is our jumping off point for the Copper Canyon train. It was a nice town. The botanical garden was the highlight of this city. There are lot of children activities in the botanical garden. The center plaza was also a nice place to visit in the evening. Lot of shops there to do some shopping.

The location is excellent, right off the highway.
The location is excellent, right off the highway. Very affordable hotel. Reception is very courteous and welcoming. The room is very comfortable and generous size. They have courtesy water coolers in the hallway. Breakfast is very good too, worth the small cost.
This was a pet friendly hotel not far off hwy 15 in Los Mochis. There was lots of parking in a lot that had a gate(closed at night I assume). There was restaurant, bar and pool but we didn’t use them. The hotel is old so the room was a little rundown, but was large and had a table and a desk. The water for the shower was hot and even the beds which are typically hard in Mexico were quite comfortable. For the price it was what we expected. We would stay again.
I've booked one night to stay after train before go back to Mexico-city, it was a promo price so 65 USD per night is very low for such kind of hotel. It was free transportation from the train station to hotel- very good surprise. We were offered excursion for the town and in the region- if we stay for more time, could be an option. Very nice and helpful staff. Good location on the main street. Palms in the internal yard )
Owner&staff were very helpful to organize my el Chepe viaje el día siguiente. I arrived very late from the Topolobambo ferry because the trip from LA Paz took 3 hours more than usually and they were available to receive me at 1h40 in the night and giving some infos for the train.
Good hot shower with water pressure. Mattress a bit hard but ok.
Price is very fair.
Staff were very friendly and profession a big thank you to Yon she spoke English she helped me change my reservation and helped direct me to the hotel and also accompanied us to our room and showed us everything she was wonderful, thank you so much
From the moment we drove up we were made welcome to be there. Smiles everywhere. Guests and workers alike. A very busy hotel where old friends gather. A bit worn around the edges, but comfortable. The food was good and rooms comfortable.
Big disappointment, Minimalist accommodations, bed was not comfortable. No frill hotel, bring your stuff, nothing is supplies. All is small except for the price. It was my first and last stay in IBIS hotel.
This hotel has a central location and street parking out front. A security guard said he watches the cars all night; he was pleasant and helpful. Other staff were ambivalant about the guests.
It's centrally located and had an attached restaurant. Because we were just going to take the train to and from Los Mochis, it was a convenient location for our stop.
