Beautiful relaxing hotel in the very north of the island.
We really enjoyed the relaxing courtyard, delicious dinners, fresh breakfasts and afternoon tea with cake.
There is a small but very nice hammam you can book.
The service is great, very accomodating and attentive.

A place with potential, however the position with two shabby and dirty buildings in front of the nice sea view isn’t great. Rooms are ok however needs to be maintained as the joints in the bathrooms are dirty. Didn’t like the two levels with stairs in the room, TV is outdated and the beds too hard. Too much noise from the rooftop bar and very loud music at night. The best asset are the staff, chef and service staff very nice and helpful.
Offering an outdoor pool and a garden restaurant with bar, Guest House et Restaurant Sous le Badamier is located in Pointe Aux Canonniers. Moint Choisy Beach is a 5-minute drive away.

Overall a good hotel but there are some key features they need to improve on.
1, The price on some items are way out there like their taxi booking, booking.com offer 25 euro and from them its 60 euro. we can understand maybe 20-30% topup but not 120%. its not about the amount but as matter of principal. also their private fishing tour cost 28000 their own money which around 2200 dirham or 600 dollars. the reason as per them is the fuel cost and i we understand the fuel cost is a bit high but it felt a bit to high for some hours of fishing. on the other hand they did have a 30min free shallow fishing for small fishes.
2, The Beds and sheets where an absolute disaster, for a hotel on this caliber we could not understand how they have not managed to buy some proper bed mattress and sheets, it was almost impossible to sleep, the bed mattress had totally lost its shape and were bend in the middle so we woke up multiple tiles during night and the sheets were of the cheapest quality and where making sound when we moved around.
3, the Pool was one of the best pools i have seen in any hotel, seating around the pool with bed in the water.
4, the personal were really nice and polite.
5, the hotel location is good and relaxing
6, they had some free water actives like snorkeling, shallow fishing, kayaking, etc
Overall a good hotel but have space to improve.

Grand Baie is a fabulous area of Mauritius on the North coast of the island. Beach is beautiful, lots of street food, bars, restaurants to choose from.
Supermarkets, shops and malls all a short walking distance.
Plenty of day trips such as catamaran trips, glass bottom boats that leave from Grand Baie and if you fancy a little bit of extreme adventure then 20 mins away you can go sky diving and experience something out of this world with beautiful views of the island

Grand Baie is beautiful, so easy to get to shops, restuarants and beaches. Very busy though, and drivers tend to speed on the roads, and there is almost no pavement for walking in many places so please be carefil when walking along the road. Beaches are truly beautiful. We were able to easily get to restaurants and the food was really great -Toparadis served great food and we got our food very quickly, the cocktails here were very good; the most amazing food was at Ocean V, Rooftop restaurant, the staff were amazing, friendly and so welcoming and the view was unlike any other I had seen in Mauritius. You can also try the street food, it really is so safe and good. We took a boat cruise from Grand Baie to Gabrielle island and it was amazing, though not for the sensitive, as boat tends to rock quite a bit when the wind picks up- saw lots of flying fish and dolphins! Overall we had an amazing boat cruise on the Coral Princess with superb hosts, Kevin, Pascal, Carelle etc. Lunch was served on the boat when we got back. Lots of taxis and buses, though not so much on weekday nights, and lots during Thursday to Sunday day and nights.
I suggest using cash at the little stores if possible as there seemed to be a connectivity problem at at least 2 stores where I was charged for the purchase but they said the txn did not go through, and at one shop the lady was quite rude -keep your purchase slips as proof, or take a pic of the "card not supported message". Be prepared for the price of items to be increased the moment you speak another language (other than creole). Always negotiate at the markets!

Beautiful area with a lot to do.
Beautiful area with a lot to do. Many local shops around, with the Super U Mall within walking distance.
The roads are very narrow with hardly any space for pedestrians to walk. Renting of cars is impossible if planning a spontaneous trip, but there are local shops renting out bicycles and scooters.
+ Coconut Grove is very modern and well equipped with everything you need and has enough space to accommodate a family of 3-4
+ Fiona was very welcoming, was present for the handover of keys and available on Whatsapp whenever we needed
+ the pool is a hidden asset when the sky is overcast and you are not in the mood for going to the beach
+ the location is perfect for exploring the north of Mauritius!
+ there are many good shops nearby (GSR or Winners) and Masali - the best indian food that we've ever eaten
Both the owner and the staff were friendly, informative, and welcoming. The location is a quick 2 minute walk to a bus route, and therefore accessible to Grand Baie, Peyrebere, Moint Choisy and the rest of the North. They helped arrange tours and transportation as needed. The room was super clean and had the best shower during my entire stay in Mauritius. The amenities and set up in the room were very thoughtful for comfort and a multi-day stay. The breakfast was appreciated. And, the cat is lovely too!
I liked very much the individual houses in the colonial style: the main reason I selected this hotel, the welcoming drink after such a long trip, the garden which was taken care of daily, the decoration of our room, the various activities they had each evening, the boutique shop, the excellent massage that I enjoyed in the spa, that they gave me a room at the back and it was quite as I requested. It was so nice to lie in the evening in the chairs and listen to the sea!
Top quality hotel. Great location. Smart and modern room furnishings too. Picture perfect! Staff were courteous and helpful. Special mention to Juan.
Shopping malls are 5-7 minutes walk away from the hotel so you really can't want for anything.
Hotel also offers free shuttle to some destinations e.g. malls, beach and the local market.
Cleanliness was 100%.
The indoor pool was relaxing especially when the bubbles are activated.
I highly recommend.
A getaway that felt like true paradise.
From swimming with turtles to dining 6 different cuisines- LUXE Grand Baie offers an incredible versatile stay that satisfies all your holiday needs.
The staff were super kind, generous and attentive- they made us feel as though we were part of the hotel family and kept tabs on all our activities. Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable.
This is an incredible boutique hotel, in the heart of trendy Grand Baie.
The staff are faultless, Siman, Daniel, Yeshna and Nazila.
They are always available and willing to assist their guests, with a chat, car hire, outings booking and general information about the area.
Thank you truly for your amazing hospitality and kindness and assistance ❤️
Villa Eden is a wonderful spacious quiet apartment with all the amenities. The sunsets and sunrise from the rooftop pool are awesome and we liked the fact that no one can look into the apartment as the houses to the east are far lower down. This is a great place for a stay on Mauritius not far from Grand Bay and we can definitely recommend it.
Very nice and cozy hotel. Has all the required facilities whether the spa or the kids club. Many swimming pools and great service. Our villa Butler Avinass was very helpful and provided everything we requested. We requested some privacy in the villa and they did provide curtains around the swimming pool which really appreciated
Excellent location (only like 4/5 minutes walking downtown to Grand Baie). Very quiet location too, good sleep. Both Lena and Vivek are an incredible hosts and they make you feel comfortable. You have all you need for a nice stay and in order to have a base and move around the island. Vivek can give you some nice tips :)
Nothing nothing nothing... it was pathetic unhygienic.... worth only 1000 rupees per day.. they charged 90000 and facilities were pooooooooooorrrrr.... worst villa I have visited in mauritius... don't go there ever.. if u want to wake ur money ur most welcome... staff was very very very very rude.. just don't go...
The staff was really good, the Hotel is good and comfy but need some attention to details, a new paint job here and there. The restaurant has an amazing view as some of the bedrooms. Internet access is fast.
Try the spa and massages, in 2 weeks we got a raining afternoon so we did it.
We had a great time there.
I really recommand this hotel
the room was clean and cosy
the breakfast so yummy with a nice view
and of course the staff who work there are all amazing ! Siman is a very nice person who do everything in her hand to help you and make your trip enjoyable
Lovely hotel in a great location. Very clean, friendly staff and accessible taxis. Directly opposite arguably one of the best swimming beaches in Mauritius and near a few good restaurants and a supermarket. Good restaurant.
The Domaine de Grand Baie is definitely a nice hotel:
· it still has that air of newness having opened in Sept '22
· good facilities and a high level of decor/style in both the apartment and communal areas
The best location -the hotel is located right across the pereybere public beach...with crystal clear water. The hotel rooms and facilities were very clean....and the staff are wonderful.
Had a newly renovated Appartement at the groundfloor. Just a few steps to the beach of Grand baie Restaurants Shops etc.. No more value for Money achievable..
location was perfect 👍 the beach is located in front of the hotel, the ladies who served the breakfast where great and trying to make you happy all the time
