Hotel Al Alba Hammam & Restaurant, hotel in Asilah

This boutique hotel is located just 100 metres from Asilah beach. It offers air-conditioned accommodation and several terraces. Parking is available nearby.

Staff were amazing, warm and friendly and went out of their way to help us. My partner left his suit bag at the hotel and they very kindly shipped it to the UK for us as we had already travelled. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and lovely design. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great location too, right next to the sea.

casa bahia, hotel in Asilah

Featuring a garden, terrace and views of mountain, casa bahia is located in Asilah, 400 metres from Plage de Asilah.

We stayed one night here, in preparation for departing on the ferry from Tangier port the next morning. From the outside, the property looks like a high quality house and is located in a quiet residential area. Parking is available on the quiet road outside the house. The house and our room were spotlessly clean. The rooftop terrace gives views of the surrounding area, including one of the beaches. Breakfast is usually served between 8.00am and 10.00am, but we were planning to depart at 7.30am to go to the ferry port. The owner very graciously arranged to have a light breakfast available for us before we left. Even though we didn't eat much, we greatly appreciated the gesture. It's perhaps a 15 minutes walk to reach the medina

Hotel Zelis, hotel in Asilah

Located in the heart of Asilah, this hotel has free Wi-Fi and is just 300 metres from the harbour.

A once fine hotel now a little shabby - in a good way. The more people who stay - the faster it will get back up and running again. We were given a room on the top floor overlooking the sea - couldn't have asked for a better view. Staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the giant teapot in the restaurant Location was great - handy for the medina, and also for the better value new town. Asilah is probably the cleanest town in Morocco! - certainly along the coast

I have been many many times in the last 37 years and it never fails to impress, plenty to do for a long weekend, easily accessible from Tangiers by train or taxi (approx 200mdh), very safe, lovely people, new marina being built , probably best to stay outside the marina as it might be noisy at night, plenty of affordable accommodation in the area, great choice of eateries, shops and hammams, car not necessary

It is a quiet little town with a history of Portuguese occupation. The Medina is small and clean and many artists live here. There is a mural festival every year. Plenty of fish restaurants and a market street. Not a party town.

    The medina was very clean.

The medina was very clean. We watched the sunset from Cafe Derya, which was beautiful. The Medina lets its white walls painted by artists every July, that was interesting. Nice restaurants. We visited Paradise beach on the day we left, but its definetely one of the best beaches in Morocco. The access road is easier by 4x4. But if you want a beach, that's the one to go for, with plenty of small restaurants.

Asiilah is a small town/city off the main tourist track.

Asiilah is a small town/city off the main tourist track. I was looking for an "authentic" Moroccan urban experience and Asilah was perfect for that. The hustlers were to a minimum, the markets, shops and street vendors had a wide supply of offerings. The produce sold on the street was of the most beautiful colors and freshness. The shopping I did was without pressure and fun. Asilah should be seen if you are nearby and stay at the Riad Oasis D'Asilah when there

The beaches in Asilah are a open rubbish field.

The beaches in Asilah are a open rubbish field. I would not walk on the sand without shoes, it is a wide sand shore and the waves are beautiful, but it is a shame that locals have zero respect for the environment and the beach is a landfill. People are a little bit less pushy that Marrakesh or Fes, but there's nothing to do there. You can see the entire old town in 1h and the restaurants are just disgusting - dirty, expensive and not impressive at all.

The apartments are one of the best i stayed in! This comes from someone who travels a lot. Our room was very big and comfortable. It has everything in the room. without exaggeration, in one word: Perfect. Also the price is very reasonable! The location was perfect! It was in the boulevard of Asilah and maybe 3-5min walk from the old city. The staff were very friendly and helped us with everything! The parking under the apartment was perfect for our car, very safe. I will definitly be back here!

We enjoyed one night at the Riad Aicha before having to leave early to get our travel COVID tests. The riad is centrally located and within walking distance to everything in town. The rooftop also has great views of the surrounding village and night sky. Mohammed was incredibly helpful, and found us a taxi to Tangier for a last minute train to Casablanca. We can’t thank him enough for his quick help and willingness to sit with us at a cafe for a half hour until our cab showed up.

The house is equipped in a modern way, as if you feel that you are in a 5-star hotel. You have all the necessary needs in the house to enjoy your stay in the quiet and beautiful city of Asilah in the winter. Yassin was always at our service and the view of the city and the sea from the balcony was amazing. The apartment is close to the sea coast, the old city and restaurants. We will definitely return to the same flat if we visit Asilah again

I felt extremely comfortable at the Oasis d'Asilah. The hosts were very warm and helpful, the breakfast was excellent and is taken in the garden in a great ambience. You feel like you are in paradise, with the view of the wonderful plants and the fountain in the middle. The location of the Oasis is also perfect. Inside the old city walls, very quiet and yet very central. The Oasis is a fantastic place to spend a few days in Asilah.

Excellent location for exploring Asilah, walking distance to the beach and medina. This is a very special and unique family run boutique hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean, tastefully decorated, the breakfast is excellent, the tea is exquisite, there are numerous areas to lounge and relax both inside and out. The staff are very friendly and helpful, free street parking is available right in front of the hotel.

Heaven on earth! Our room was in the second floor with access to a balcony that overlooked the city and the small bur beautiful pool. The staff (who treat all guests like family) greeted us with a delicious dinner (although we arrived late) and a beautiful breakfast overlooking a garden with turtles. They even washed and prepared the fruit that we bought at the market. Could not recommend more! And Asilah is a gem.
