We stayed here as we were doing the slow boat to Laos. The location was super and there was a man waiting at the pier to take our bags to the hotel. We got a drink and a cold flannel on arrival which was a nice touch. We got free breakfast at the restaurant over the road where there was a good selection of food on offer on the menu. The room was spacious but we had to use the mosquito net as there was a lot of bugs around. Lizards kept coming into the room too through little holes in the lodge. The bathroom was a little dirty on the tiles but it was all fine for 1 night. The bed was comfortable and we for a decent night sleep! Overall was a good stay.

It is one of the first hostels right by the pier, so you don't have to walk far. The owners were very friendly and the young woman spoke english very well. Our room with enclosed bathroom had a functioning a/c and mosquito nets for the windows.
The room was very clean and the owner allowed us to fill our water bottles in the restaurant.
