An amazing place!! We felt like not in hotel, it's like a home. Emanuela and Flavio are so gentle, kind, polite and responsive. They made us feel like so comfortable. The view from the house is amazi too. The food is precious - everything we ate was so delicious. They produce their own bio olive oil extra virgin and honey. The jam orange and mimosa madw is excellent too. The room was clean and cozy, there were everything we have need.

I personally find this hotel very charming. In Italian "Liberty" style (what is called Art Nouveau/Jugendstil/Modernismo in the rest of Europe) the hotel has indeed kept its architectural features and although some people might think it would need some renovation I think it's perfect the way it is. So nice to spot old heaters with incorporated bread oven or the small food elevator in the breakfast room :). Both the lady and the guy who run the hotel are extremely kind and welcoming. Room was spot-clean and although weather had started to be quite warm outside I could enjoy a cool room. I booked a single room with a single bed and the bidet was incorporated in the wc, which was very practical. I usually have sweet breakfast and was able to find everything I like, especially whole grain baguette. Very fresh, bought every morning from a bakery for sure :). Location is perfect. You can reach everything on foot from there.

A 20-minute drive from both Montecarlo and Sanremo, Sole Mare is a 3-star seafront hotel in Ventimiglia, renovated in 2020.

Very nice location overlooking the new marina, on the sea-front, in a very quiet location Rooms and hotel have been renovated since my last visit pre-covid - it was always well finished, but now it's really great Nice buffet breakfast with good choice.
