A quaint seaside town - very clean and with great food both to buy and cook or dine out. The town center is vibrant and has a really good feel. We stumbled across Pozzallo taking the ferry across to Malta - what a gem !

Pozzallo is the closest Sicilian port to the island of Malta. It is an obvious place to break one's journey from Malta by sea, by spending at least one night in Pozzallo and continuing on one's travels the next day (or days).
Pozzallo is a good place to relax and enjoy the beaches (in summer) and long walks (in winter).

Pozzallo is great as a stepping stone, to rest a bit and move on. We've always found the locals to be very friendly, and the food good.
The beaches are nice, and fantastic for the children, but apart from that there isn't much to do.

Pozzallo is a beautiful little beach town at the southern tip of Sicily. The beach water is clear and beautiful! Many people don't speak English there, so make sure to bring your translator app. I would also recommend a trip to the best gelato place in town, L'Artigianale. They have a huge selection of amazing flavors, and so cheap!

Very relaxed and some lovely bars and restaurants on the beach.
Beautiful clean beaches for miles with refreshing showers
Gustos bar and ice cream/coffee bar next door very good
Very few shops
Not much to do at night for 20-30 year olds
Excellent location and a spectacular view from the terrace. Place very clean and kitchen well equipped with everything. Large sitting /dining area with a beautiful seaview. Just opposite the villa is a beautiful beach and it is only 10 minutes by car to centre and only 45 minutes to nearby siracusa and noto. We were a family of 5 and it was all very comfortable. The host Sylvana is super friendly and makes you feel very welcome. Good Wifi connection. Also Giuseppe very helpful with suggestions. We will definitely return.
A lovely small colourful hotel very close to Pozzallo port (appr. 15 minute walk) and situated in a quiet street very close to the beach. The receptionist Caterina was extremely friendly and helpful! Our room, which had a nice balcony, smelled so nice when we went in...everything was so clean. The sweet breakfast in the morning was delicious too. We loved it...wish we could have stayed more than a night! Thank you
We loved staying in Pozzallo and we loved this flat and its terrace. We would be happy to come back anytime. The flat is about 30s from the beach. A lot o cafes, bars, restaurans are close by. A small grocery shop is about 2 minutes walk. Some bigger shops are in the town as well (about 15-20 minutes from the flat). Antonino (the owner) was very nice and always propt with his replies to our questions. Thank you.
The apartment is large, comfortable, modern, and convenient. Communication from the owner was excellent. Johnny and his son met us to check in and explain everything. They were both so friendly and helpful, We loved the fact that there was a garage since parking seems difficult in Pozzallo. Also appreciated the elevator because I was in a wheelchair. Perfect stay. We will return!
We had a very pleasant 2 night stay. The room was comfortable, nicely appointed in the classical style and larger than the usual hotel room. Francesco, the host, was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was included and more than sufficient. The location was great for cafes, restaurants, and the beach. The hotel is in an easy, mostly flat walking area. Highly recommended.
We missed the last ferry to Malta and arrived very late at the hotel after a nearly two mile walk with luggage. Way past last check-in. Not only did the manager wake up and showed us to our room, he drove us to the ferry terminal at 5:30 the next morning as taxis/Uber not readily available at that hour. Our many thanks for both acts of kindness!
The hosts were very friendly and kind. They went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. They even offered to drive us to the port since the place is laking when it comes to puclic transport. They even gave us a cute souvenir at the end of the stay which was really sweet of them! Highly recommended.
100% recommand. The venue is perfectly located near the beach. We felt very comfortable and specifically liked the spacious balcony and the jacuzzi for a perfect way to relax.
Still, The highlight was the kindness and warmth shown by our host that made our stay there a real pleasure.
Thank you!
Excellent location, close to the city center and the beach. Close to all beauties of S-E Sicily, including the famous baroque cities Ragusa, Modica and Noto. Cristina is a wonderful host, the rooms were very clean and the neighbourhood very quiet during the night. I would definitely recommend!
The room was spacious, bright, and cheerful. We had a triple room and didn't have to stumble over each other. The location is near the train station if you're going to or coming from other places in Sicily by train. And the ferry port is only a short ride away.
Enrico, the owner, was wonderfully helpful. He ordered a taxi to pick us up from the port and extended check in to accommodate our delayed arrival. Recommended a great restaurant for dinner too. Its a charming small hotel with a great vibe.
The staff were very friendly. Its location to the Ferry port is the reason I picked this hotel. Very small rooms. Had to open the shower door to wash my feet but for the price I paid it was good. No parking. Only street parking.
The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, our room was very clean and the location is perfect!
Really glad we chose this hotel for our stay.
We highly recommend Morfeo to those visiting Pozzallo!
The place is gorgeous, a tiny paradise resort with gorgeous view and garden. Angelo, the host was extremely kind and generous. True hospitality. I will stay there every time I'm in Pozzallo!
Everything. Very clean and rural in Pozzallo. What we wanted to be near the town but retire to a peaceful environment. The hosts were the most accomdating two people ever!
Stayed at this hotel after a ferry trip from Valetta. Ferry time was changed and we arrived early, but the hotel staff were very helpful and we were soon in our room..
