The breakfast, and in particular the kitchen staff, was fantastic; the children (and admittedly also the parents) was in awe of the selection of cakes, my daughter managed to get a breakfast solely consisting of cannoli.
The swimming pool is great, and the hotel grounds are very nicely kept.

Noto is simply beautiful.
Noto is simply beautiful. If you like history, old churches, palazzos and piazzas, don't miss this gem. It is surrounded by rolling hills and there are plenty of appetising food and drink options.
It is small enough to do in a day, but I would have preferred a couple more days to really linger around and enjoy all the tiny cobblestone laneways and explore a little more.

This is my new favorite place in Sicily.
This is my new favorite place in Sicily. Noto is the perfect ballance of amazing architecture, classy restaurants with outstanding reasonably priced food, great independent boutiques.....all without the insane crowds of so many other places. Perhaps I shouldn't write this. I should tell everyone to go somewhere else. Yes, everyone should just stay in Taormina and leave these pure, clean natural beaches near Noto just the peaceful and quiet and clean way they are now...and forever. Such a great base to explore other towns of Ragusa, Modica and Scicli, but you will LOVE coming back to an amazing meal, gelato and music in Noto.

If you are visiting the East coast of Sicily, Noto is a logical stop to view a Baroque city. Easily walkable, friendly folks, enough of interest for a couple days. But I would definitely try and stay at the MichaEL Garden. Simply fabulous.

Lovely old town with relaxing pedestrian area to walk...
Lovely old town with relaxing pedestrian area to walk through and see all the historic buildings that have a harmony of colour and style. Great restaurant opposite St Francis Church (itself worthy of a visit): Trattoria Al Buco.
Didn't like confusing one way system of narrow streets with parked cars and no easy way out to main roads.
A good location for visiting Syracuse and Modica and beaches of Lido di Noto and San Lorenzo beyond the Vendicari Nature Reserve that has interesting birdlife and greek ruins.
I traveled to Noto with a group of family and friends. We stayed in three rooms at Embrace Sicily Guest House and everyone was happy with their beds and bathrooms. As nice as the accomadations are, the owner and the front desk gentleman are even better! The breakfast is a lovely selection of items with ingredients from the owner's garden made with recipes from his family. The guest house is set in a quiet location but near the sites. The owner is responsive and so thoughtful. 10+ rating. The town of Noto is gorgeous and worth a visit.
It was lovely, per the pictures. Excellent location, facilities and location. Communication with the host and check in was easy/great, and they left us had fresh fruit, water, snacks etc. we found D Street parking close by; and we bought freshly baked bread for one euro at the bakery close by, and enjoyed coffee and pastries at the pasticerria Mangiafico a block away. It was cold and rainy in Noto when we stayed, but there was a heater which was effective. We definitely would stay there again.
Everything! The staff was very welcoming and nice from the moment we arrived. They showed us to our room which was spacious with a very comfortable bed and superior shower! I would definitely suggest to have a dinner at the location as it was very tasty and also service was very polite and nice. Also breakfast was very good, tasty and there were lots of food to choose from. We were in Sicily for a week and this was the best place was stayed at. Thank your for the warm reception!
the room is very pretty and modern, everything top clean, the bed so comfy, you do not want to leave it!
The little bag filled with delicious biscuits await you upon arrival and even bottled water is for free.
breakfast on the rooftop is fantastic, lots of choices, you are even asked the evening before which type of croissant you prefer( and there are many in Sicily) - father and daughter very attentive and helpful, knowing a lot about the incredible town of Noto
This apartment was impeccably clean and very comfortable. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and the fruit and water provided by the extremely kind host! This apartment is perfectly located in Noto, very close to the city center but also convenient as a base for exploring neighboring towns. We were only going to stay for two nights but added a third- you couldn’t beat the accommodations for the price- such a nice place!
This small B and B is very clean and comfortable and in an excellent location in Noto. There is a lovely garden to sit in and where we had breakfast every day. Giuseppe and family were so welcoming and friendly. A special thanks to Ketty for our lovely breakfasts with fruit, pastries and homemade granita. It was a highlight of our time in Sicily - the best almond granita we had. A good value for money stay in the beautiful town of Noto.
I had a lovely stay in this beautiful B&B in the centre of Noto. The room was beautifully decorated, and the location is perfect for exploring the town. The breakfast was also wonderful, with fresh and home baked produce and one if the best I experienced during my recent travels in Sicily! The host was extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this truly lovely B&B to anyone visiting Noto!
The space was beautiful and the bathroom was the best, prettiest and cleanest we had throughout our road trip around South Sicily.
All the details are very well looked after from the amenities to the plates and cups.
The girls were easy to contact and answer any questions and attend any needs. The location was great! Within a neighbourhood surrounded by locals and 5 min walk from the heart of the city.
Very comfortable large hotel that seems to cater to tour buses. That said, we enjoyed our stay as independent travelers there. Drive right into the hotel parking lot and leave your car. 10 minute walk into charming old town Noto. Also an easy 5 minute drive to really wonderful Lido Noto (beach) which has brown sugar sand and several good eating options right on the water.
We loved this property which is just through the gate at the beginning of the old town - an excellent location! Wonderful hosts, delightful roof top bar and an excellent choice for breakfast. This was one of the great properties we stayed at as we drove around Sicily. We highly recommend the Hotel Porto Reale for anyone contemplating a stay in Noto.
Everything! The friendly owners and staff are amazing…they made us feel so comfortable.
The hotel is beautiful and intimate.
The stunning rooftop is the best in Sicily…and the location is perfect.
We cannot say enough about our lovely experience.
Thank you Hotel Gagliardi!❤️

The location is excellent even if a 20min walk is required to reach town centre. The stay is an experience itself. The staff is almost like a family. It doesn’t take long before you feel like home. The breakfast is a special occasion where you can taste a bit of Sicily.
Well maintained property, nice swimming pool, spacious characteristic room (4p room), fridge, view from the terrace (sea & hills of Noto valley), breakfast with homemade cakes, local products, fresh fruit. Overall a good location to explore southeast Sicily.
The location was perfect for what we were doing. We did several day trips to surrounding areas. The breakfast was plentiful and exceeded expectations. I highly recommend using Noto as a central location and San Carlo Suites as the perfect accommodation.
The best breakfast I have had so far in Sicily. Also, it is such a pleasure to see high quality construction materials used; such as lights, bathroom fixtures, beds. The owners splurged with the finishings.
Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful place and so close to Noto. Staff was easy to communicate with and responsive. Breakfast was minimal and not really worth the cost but very convenient.
This place is amazing, it really was like having your little bit of Sicily for a few days. Stunning apartment in a great location. Noto was beautiful too.
