Nothing. We never arrived. The access road was completely inaccessible to a large car.

The purpose our visit to Fiesole was to celebrate our friend's birthday whom we had not seen for years. We had never heard of Fiesole, but they were staying there for a 3 week holiday (from Canada) and so we joined them with zero expectations. Fiesole was absolutely lovely, and frankly two days was not enough. We ate very well at local restaurants and visited the lovely Franciscan monastery on top of the hill, which is well worth a look. An incredible museum with Chinese coins dating back to the 100AC (!) and an Egyptian mummified kitten amongst other extremely old antiquities! Was not expecting that LOL!
View of Florence is spectacular from Fiesole, and to think you are in a small little quiet 'village' just 20 mins drive away.

Nestled in the hills just a stone's throw away from Florence, Fiesole is a quaint Italian town that may not boast an extensive list of attractions, but it captivates visitors with its serene ambiance and unparalleled vistas of the Tuscan capital. If you're in search of a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of Florence, Fiesole is the perfect destination.

We did not see much of Fiesole because our stay was short and we were focused on Florence but we would really like to have visited the Roman ruins of Fiesole. The part of town that we stayed in has a nice piazza with a restaurant, an ice-cream parlor and a really yummy food truck. It is really well connected to Florence (a cheap bus takes you to the city in 20 min. and it comes every 15 so it is really convenient). The restaurant has a gorgeous view of the whole valley with Florence in the middle. We also saw the post office and a grocery store around there. It is really a pleasant town with a lot to offer.

Quaint little town on the hill above Florence, easily accesable by bus from the centre of Florence. There are few restaurants and cafe's in the centre and also a historic centre with Roman ruins and a museum. We had 3 nights tehre, but could have easily stayd more, as the vibe of the small time is great and if you get bored you can easily go to Florence and back.

Fiesole is a beautiful vibrant village in the hills above Florence. Wonderful views back towards the city. Fascinating history to explore. The perfect place to stay out of the hustle of the city and only a 20 odd minute bus trip away. Lots of great bars and restaurants. A well stocked small supermarket. We love Fiesole.

Deliberately booked fiesole as didn't want the chaos of florence centre. However, there is a number 7 bus that goes back and forth 1.50 euro takes about 22 mins and very frequent.I believe would get a better class hotel in centre and yes same price or less .The walks are tiring around fiesole but views worth it. we were lucky sun was shining each day. some amazing sunsets about 7pm.Little cake shop towards bottom hill ALCEDO cheapest coffee to go and amazing cakes.Coop sells all need to make picnics as food is very costly
Nice flat, clean, functional, charming.
A little dark, but this did not bother us at all. On the contrary, the flat keeps a certain coolness that is much appreciated in summer... By the way, the air conditioning works well.
Free parking nearby.
No view, but very pleasant, quiet, although in the city centre.
Close to a COOP, for shopping for food and other items during your stay.
Easy bus connection to Florence, from Fiesole square less than 5 minutes walk from the flat. Take the bus 7, price 1.50 €, and about 30 minutes of travel.
Location is an easy 5 minutes walk from Fiesole's centre.
Roberto greeted us upon arrival, and although the water wasn't working when we arrived, it was fixed by the time we came back after dinner. Fortunately an English speaking neighbour could explain the situation to us!
The apartment itself is very charming and full of personality. The aircon was quick to keep us cool and there's a splendid view over Florence just outside.
Daniela is a wonderful host. She is always there for you when you need it. The flat stays cool in the summer heat and the bedroom is very spacious and quiet. We always ate outdoors and enjoyed the scenery and the peace and quiet. The swimming pool is big and wonderfully located. You can see Florence from there and in the evenings we sat on the stone bench close to the pool looking down at one of the most beautiful town in Italy.
This was just like in the pictures, a big ancient Italian house turned into a hotel nowadays, a bit old but beautiful, specially if you like that kind of property.
Its located a fee minutes away from the city but its worth it considering that comes with a peaceful atmosphere and amazing view.
All the girls fork the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
This place was GORGEOUS. It felt like you’re miles away from the city but it was only 10 mins from the heart of Florence. We took a stroll through the grounds and bumped into beautiful buildings and castles. Loved to see all the animals. Rooms were very clean and nice. Breakfast and dinner and lunch served on site with a beautiful view.
Wonderful friendly host made this feel like being a guest in someone's home rather than a BnB. The location was beautiful, the town of Fiesole was charming with good restaurants and amazing views. Connections into Florence were super easy by bus from Fiesole, however I recommend having a car to drive from the BnB to the bus station.
We loved the pool, it was amazing! The location was great, about 20 mins on the bus to Fiesole from Florence and then a few minutes drive from Fiesole to the property. However we didn't have a car and it was about a 20 walk from the town to the property. Breakfast was also great.
Thanks for having us!
The property is in the city center of Fiesole, for a 5 minute walk from bus station, from where you can get to Florence. There were free coffee, tea, water, orange juice, croissants and biscuits in the kitchen. The coffee especially was great 😊.
very close to the bus station! can easily get to Florence in about 20 minutes. we found a very nice grocery store nearby and we’re able to use the fridge and kitchen for all our items. The lady who owns the building is incredibly kind.
The Staff were so friendly. The room was comfy and had a great view as did the hotel terrace and garden. It was an ideal location and a relaxing and stylish haven from the busy centre of Florence. The dining room was, Wow!
The host, Eleonora was super warm and friendly. Everything was perfect. It is super clean, the breakfast was very tasty, especially the scrambled egg with Fiesole olive oil.
Definitely recommend to stay here.
loved our stay. It was prettier than the pictures. Very beautiful location. Took the train to Florence. It was very quick. stayed late in Florence and took a taxi back for only 24 €
The hotel's staff, breakfast, location and the building's history was excellent. Fiesole is a perfect suburb to visit Firenze if you have a car or OK with transport by public bus.
Nice location outside Florence, on a hill with views of Fiesole. Nice and cool in the evening, great parking, friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant was excellent!
Location, room, food, overall ambiance were all wonderful and the pricing was reasonable for the hotel. It was one of the best parts of our trip to Italy.
