It was located in a very peaceful location, in the countryside. The host was really nice. Reached out to us in advance and arranged online check in before our arrival. Took his/her time to explain us how to access the room. The room itself was quite big and comfortable with an extra bed so no problem if you are 3 people or with pets. Bonus point for cat lovers.

A truly relaxing break in such a beautiful setting - the photos do not do it justice. Definitely a treat but worth the expense. Our room was lovely and we enjoyed all of the facilities: pool, spa, gardens, food / bar. Yes, the hotel kitchen only does breakfast and lunch but (1) there is a good bar menu to go with sundowners and (2) there are plenty of great restaurants nearby which the staff are happy to recommend / book. And their help is readily offered - we booked a cooking class and taxis through reception, and found everyone to be friendly and helpful. The hotel is isolated (which adds to its charm), so we would recommend hiring a car so that you're not limited to taxis and can take the odd day trip around Tuscany during your stay, to nearby San Miniato or even Lucca / Florence / Pisa / Livorno which are all within an hours' drive or so.

The buzzing electric socket, the twin beds tied together, the broken shower door, the calcified shower head, the hairdryer strategically placed beside the overflowing shower, the thin and dated duvet, the veranda that could not contain more than half a person standing, the kitchenette that had no kitchenware but did half plastic knives and cups but no kettle, dishes or anything useful. Our stay was EXCEPTIONAL. Thanks to the host kidness, attentiveness. Appartment itself SUPER CLEAN and COMFORTABLE. Very COZY and ORGANIZED with CARE and LOVE for the guests, thinking of each small detail you may need. The bed and lines very VERY GOOD QUALITY. The owner was preparing WONDERFUL breakfast with variety of meals, adjusted breakfast time to our need. We felt VERY WELCOMED and would DEFINITELY stay here again once visting this area.
