A beautiful rural escape right in central Basilicata. With lots of short trips to nearby Hilltop towns and hiking possibilities it'sa great base. We had a perfect, although very short stay here: quiet and peaceful. Although this is our fourth visit to Italy we had the very best breakfast ever. Home baking with organic eggs etc. I'll leave it to your imagination until you get to savor!

Central location in Castelmezzano with the use of the lock up garage to leave the car, amazing hospitality from the owner, Michele, who was always contactable and took pride in his property. Use of jacuzzi spa bath was a bonus as was the beautiful view from balcony. Exceptionally clean apartment and good breakfast with fresh croissants delivered daily. The drinks in the local bars were reasonably priced and the locals were friendly. We felt it was a safe neighbourhood and the safe deposit box in the room made it even safer. Good places to eat and a great pizzeria close by. A little supermarket is just around the corner.

Nice and cozy apartment with a great view of the town. We were two, but the apartment was comfortable enough to accommodate a family for a few days. We never met the landlady, but check-in was simple, following the instructions she shared with us. Very close to the main attractions, Flight of the Angels, and both Feratas.
