Staff extremely accommodating. We booked very last minute and they let us get In the room early. Staff showed us how to get in to Venice very easy. Bus across the road and even gave us bus tickets as ticket office was closed.
The next day we had to leave before breakfast so the owner made us an early breakfast before we left for the airport.
Free parking and although we had a shared bathroom we had a sink in our room to brush our teeth etc, which was a bonus.

Very convenient location to reach out from Venice. It has it's own restaurant where you can have lunch/dinner.
Good value for money for the very expensive zone. Thanks Chiara for all information given in advance !

The hotel was good ,
The hotel was good ,
The only downsize was u can only buy a bus ticket single trip from The hotel and I must pay with cash while u can pay with card The hotel itself.
Then we had to wait till 16.00 o clock to buy bustickets at The local tobacco store.
Becoz u cant buy a ticket in The bus to venice, I found a little bit sufficiënt and old fashion in a modern world today …….but hé I got to see venice and that was sooooooo great for an old man like me :)

Campalto is situated near Venice, close to Marco Polo Airport (5km). For people who prefer a cheaper stay in a good hotel when visiting Venice may choose this option in the area around.
Venice hotels are quite expensive.
In Campalto you will find supermarkets like Lidl with a larger and cheaper choice than the smaller supermarkets in Venice center.

I don't even know the name of the person who welcomed my family. That madam's beautiful smile keeps coming to mind. I think I will keep thinking of the breakfast that she prepared deliciously with all her sincerity.

Campalto is a little a little run down with lots of empty shops and not a great deal to do. However, there are many little cafés/bars that are open very long hours. Plenty of places to eat and drink at a fairly reasonable price. Very close to the airport and Venice city both just a short bus ride away, but beware as buses are fairly pricey and 1 price whether you want to travel 1 stop or from one end of the line to the other.
It would be interesting to compare Campalto now to pre covid as I wonder if lack of business, during covid, has caused a lot of the shops to close. Even the large Marco Polo hotel is closed at present
Great location close enough to Venice to take a quick bus ride there, but out of the hustle and bustle of the city so quiet at night and a safe place to leave your car. Felt very safe leaving personal items in room when we went out. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything in the room was very clean and in good condition. Overall we were happy with our stay here and would recommend it to anyone just looking for a comfortable and safe location near Venice.
Picked this hotel as it was equal distance between airport and Venice. It is a family run business. Staff were exceptional. We enjoyed time visiting with the family. They helped us manoeuvre around and into Venice as we were new to the area. Arranged taxi to the airport. Enjoyed the coffee, cappuccino's, wine and gelato bar downstairs from the rooms. Clean quiet place perfect for our needs.
The host/staff was simply phenomenal.
There is a restaurant up front- fantastic.
Two great options for public transportation to Venice’s main bus station.
Easy access to/from Venice Mestre (train station).
10-15 mins from airport (few bus options €10pp or taxi €25-30)
All was great about this place and we totally recommend it.
Breakfast was lovely. Fried eggs, cold cuts, cheese, bread, pastries, fruit, juice and great cappucino. Room was well arranged to sleep 4 people with shelving on one wall for everyone to put their belongings. Small table to sit at, nice bathroom. Gated parking and the bus to center of Venice picks up nearly at the hotel.
Helpful staff, good size room with all room facilities. Good breakfast and transport to airport for small charge. There is not a lot around the hotel but there is a cheap an frequent cheap bus service which has you in Venice in less than 15 minutes. There is also a nice roof terrace but requires shade from the sun
Perfect starting point for a Venice visit, as you can leave your car in the hotel's parking lot and take the local bus (bus stop is about 30m(!) from the hotel.
Nevertheless, the biggest selling points are the restaurant in the hotel, the quality of food AND the kindness of hotel/restaurant staff. :)
The location is convenient for taking buses to Venice, from airport to hotel, going to Mestre, to train stations in Mestre and Venice, near some excellent restaurants, staff is very friendly and helpful. If you travel with a group of friends or family, this hotel is a good choice.
Camping Rialto was perfect. It is really nothing like camping in the US. Every night we ate at their restaurant, very good food. We stayed in the mobile home area. It was a brand new mobile home!! Bus to Venice is right outside their property.
It was a great location for going into Venice by bus! The bus stop was right outside the front of the hotel. The room was larger than we thought it would be, and the same for the bed. It had a nice view of the neighborhood.
The staff is exceptional. The room was very clean and beautiful! I felt very safe as a solo traveler. The breakfast was excellent! The restaurant was wonderful. It's ain a quiet neighborhood. I will visit this hotel again!
The hotel is cosy enough and the location is very good, only 15 minutes away from Piazzale Roma (Venice) by bus. It is a good budget option for 1-3 nights. Check-in and check-out was very easy.
Breakfast was very nice. Staff was helpful e.g. when Wifi did not work. Connection to Venice was perfect (15 min by bus and busstop right outside the hotel). Parking right infront of the hotel.
The Hostess was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very close to the bus station, which made going into Venice easy. Breakfast was great, with a wide array of choices.
The place was well taken care of, and breakfast was very good! The bus stop to Venice is just 3-5 min walk from the hotel. The hotel was easy to find and parking convenient.
Location was perfect if you need to catch early morning flights. Couple who manages the hotel are very kind and helpful. Room was clean, air conditioned and spacious..
