I totally loved my stay, the highlight was watching the northern lights from my bedroom window, magical moment. The property horses are also so friendly and let you pet them :)

We were met by the lovely host Pálína. Who showed us around and made us feel welcome and at home. She patiently answered the many questions my eight year old had. He was fascinated with all the rocks and books and was happy to have toys and games to play with. All the hotels and places we stayed at in Iceland were clean but this was the cleanest place we stayed at, with so much attention to details. We used the kitchen to prepare some sandwiches. There was one other party of 3 there and it was totally fine. Didn’t use the hot tub and sauna as we had spent the day earlier in a pool, but other party did and said it was good.

We just needed a place for a nightover in the middle of our route to Husavík, and the place was very nice, clean rooms, friendly host and staff, very well equipped kitchen, and surprisedly a very good and free breakfast. Best value ever in Iceland.

It was a nice hotel situated between Reykjavik and Akureyri.
It was a nice hotel situated between Reykjavik and Akureyri. The facilities were good and if I was making the journey again I’d be happy to go back to this hotel. Very clean, nice big space. Beds weren’t the best but fine for the night. Breakfast was an average breakfast for the price, toast, meat, cheese and fruit etc. Not many restaurants in close proximity but there’s a microwave and hot water in the lounge area if you want to make yourself something. We went to the garage 5 mins away that sold sandwiches and other meals and ate there.
